  • DOA made great music, and they also made a helluva lot of friends all over North America by being friendly and decent people. Punk is more than music, it's about making the world a better place.

  • yeah no shit. at least something good came from bc other than weed

  • This was filmed in 2007???? I don't think so all the audience is too young for the old fart punk rockers that would go to a DOA show these days

  • @steveaksel This would be 1984

  • great song and performance

  • Olympic Aud. in LA 1984

  • every time i look them up on you tube it comes up with gay rap videos

  • I saw these guys in Chicago...fantastic...the drummer really cooked with the double bass drum

  • no control ripped this off yo

  • totally...

  • DOA coined the term "hardcore" with the release of their "Hardcore '81" album

  • Not so.

  • minor threat is my favorite

  • DOA is the best Canadian punk rock. Come to think of it out of the best punk bands in the world! West Van YMCA shows, New York Theatre Vancouver incredible days!!!

  • This is taken from a Flipside video featuring a full set from DOA and about 7 songs from the Dead Kennedys.

  • The song that should have been on the American Hardcore soundtrack but wasn't.

  • anyone knows when this footage was taken?

  • Frisco

  • They just Rule.

    Onstage, and Offstage, realdeal.

  • hmm..suddenly feel like hearin Youth Brigade

  • FUCKEN EH!!! GO SHIT HEAD!!!

  • Makes me proud to be from Canada. :)

    DOA!

  • i just come back from their gig in zagreb, croatia

  • I have followed them since they started been in more states than i care to say with them had them passed out all over my homes hell i even moved to vancouver to be closer i miss my friends joey randy greg chuck n wimpy what has it been 17 yrs since i see ya live at the whiskey in la and yes chuck started out in doa when he was like 14 one hell of a drummer they are also on myspace peace yall lauren

  • Thank you so much to whoever posted this video. DOA is one of the greatest bands ever. I lived in Seattle for 13 years and had the pleasure of seeing this band on several occasions. I hope that Joe Keithley follows in the footsteps of Peter Garrett from Midinight Oil, in other words "into government". Canada could use a guy like Joe Keithley in power, and I think Australia is better off with Peter Garrett in power.

    Christian Haerle

    Zurich, Switzerland

  • was chuck biscuits the original drummer for DOA?????

  • yes

  • pickle fuckers

  • Fucking classic song. Love DOA.

  • 1986 ritz ,,this show nyc ,, i am diving into crowd towards the end on the right side , its surreal to see this after 23 years

  • i fuckin love these guys, i want to see them soon.

  • ahhh...the good ol' days!!!!

  • Fucking classic

  • Fuckin' classic.

  • I remember when DOA opened up for an unkown early 80's band called Red Hot Chili Peppers..

I'd hedge a bet eggsbrother was'nt even BORN then... st00pid YouToobe n00b.... Where the hell did U think RHCP got the TUBE SOCK opening from NOOB!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!! DOA Did it FIRST!!! GO HOME TO MOMMA IF U GONNA ACT ALL NOOBISH AND STUFF!!!

  • Uh the peppers would have opened for DOA back then dude. I saw the peppers at club minimal in sacto for like 4 bucks. back in the mid 80s. DOA was a much bigger deal than the RHCP and would have headined.

  • no you are the faggot eggsborother

  • why is that

  • because i said so.

  • that's not very nice

  • why would some one mention Sex Pistols on a DOA vid?

I dont care what anyone says SP were a fucking boy band. Malcom McLaren hand picked each member of the band based on image and "carachter type" . Kinda like the way Lou Pearlman picked each member of Nsync based on image.

    They were a boy band.

    DOA was the real deal.

  • you're a faggot.

  • Yeah, and?

  • hardcore is not dead

  • would this song b considered as a song about war?

  • the only album i didnt was loggerheads

  • awesome song!

  • When it comes to Punk, the Sex Pistols could rock but D.O.A were, and are the best. Rock on Joey "Shithead" Keithley.

  • Odd, it's a slower beat than the recorded version.

  • there coming to calgary in september im so pumped, haha with rancid to

  • great song, I always laugh at how the guitar verse is pretty much EXACTLY like Bad Religion's song "No Control"(wonder if they even picked up on that). Screeching Weasel always did a mighty fine good cover of this song as well =]

  • also*

  • Couldn't stand Screeching Weasel. Hate Ben Weasel with a passion. The last name is completely appropriate.

  • hes a hero to me, he pissed a lot of people off too Lol

  • Takes all kinds, I guess. :)

  • Im seeing them with rancid in september

  • Saw DOA probably 100 times either headlining or opening up for someone in the 80's here in Vancouver. York Theater, Wise Hall, etc. Partied with them at the Plaza afterwards. Fkn great memories. Joey is playing in a ska band now from what I hear.

  • that would of been sick shit too see DOA and the Exploited back to back

  • Great Song

  • Never had the pleasure of seeing DOA live but I did meet and spend a little time with Randy Rampage when he was in Annihilator. Super cool guy.

  • Damn, i'm old!

  • Great band !!! seen them in the Youthhouse

( ungdomshuset Jagtvej 69 Copenhagen DK.)

In The Eigthties. Awesome live Band

    Talk - Action = O

  • RIP Dimwit

  • Hmm...sounds like Bad Religion ripped these guys off on the song No Control.

  • the intro and chorus sounds has exactly the same rythm and chordprogression as misfits: death comes ripping.. I don't know wich came first though as I don't know as much about d.o.a as i know about the misfits..

  • This came out first.

  • yep, about 4 years before actually. Well, maybe 3. DCR was first played early 83 right?

  • Yup.

  • Anyone know the year of this video? It seems like Chuck Biscuits on drums but I can't confirm.

  • That's Greg James aka Ned Peckerhead on drums. he used to be in Verbal Abuse, which would make this video 1984 more than likely.

  • It's not fate or chance

    Kick somebody in the face

Burn their timber and gather their bricks

Drive'em into the fire, the bloody dicks

    It's a screaming mess

    Television city dream

    Your robot's eyes gleam

    In my future dream

    And I am the prisoner

  • It's not fate or chance

It's the money in the bank

Burn their timber and gather their bricks

Drive'em into the fire, the bloody dicks

    It's a screaming mess

    And I am the prisoner

    The prisoner, the prisoner

  • Apartment walls, halls are small

Government building site much too small

These tiny boxes won't let me out

These tiny boxes are too remote

    It's a screaming mess

    Television city dream

    Your robot's eyes gleam

    In my future dream
