@TheXcaringbanasen Couldn't agree with you more. Any wonder Filipinos don't move up in the ranks compared to neighboring Asian countries? Just found out part of my heritage is Kankana-ey. Damn proud to be one.
this is great! it tells the various meanings of the dance motions. now i know some. as a Kankana-ey who grew up in manila i don't have true ideas about this. i just know that the dances imitates some animals and re-enactments of feuds between warriors.
tattak lang nakita daytoy though its been posted sometime ago... very informative.... thanks for uploading this video that showcases the beauty of our cultural identity as kan-kanaeys.....
parehas met lang ti ibaloi gayam bassit lang met ti nagdumaan na, ngem apay nga di college ak ket sabali met ti inkasta da nga nagsala san met nga kasta ada met ti naidumaan na ti tayaw ti ibaloi.,.but its awesome! nice one!
THAT is a clear and articulate interpretation of the meaning of the dance movements. I just learned it just now (poor me). Gawis ubpay nan tadek din sex bombs! (yes, that's how they will look like 30 yrs from now). Their moves are more fluid, expressive and did make sure to wear their complete native dresses.
