The main thing I like about Mark Bunker is his emphasis on Scientology being a cult, not a religion. I've always known about the beliefs of the catholic church. Sure, you do have to purchase a bible sometimes, but it's usually no more than maybe $10 at a catholic bookstore. And you don't have to pay to be part of a catholic church. You don't have to pay to be baptized. The church does encourage you to donate, but they don't force you and the money often goes to charity and stuff like that.
When I went to LA I talked to a guy who said he went for a fake audition where Scientology members were essentially phishing for social security numbers etc... Evidently there was no actual role to be auditioned for.

Sure, you do have to purchase a bible sometimes, but it's usually no more than maybe $10 at a catholic bookstore. And you don't have to pay to be part of a catholic church. You don't have to pay to be baptized. The church does encourage you to donate, but they don't force you and the money often goes to charity and stuff like that.

When I went to LA I talked to a guy who said he went for a fake audition where Scientology members were essentially phishing for social security numbers etc... Evidently there was no actual role to be auditioned for.
Sure I heard it from a random guy on the subway, but he seemed credible to me.

Religion will never go away. Only by excessive force and lots of time will religion cease to exist so ... Gotta learn to coexist with it. All we can do is go after the most harmful ones and take them on one by one.
