Jim, glad you are happy there. You should ride your bike to Nashville in July and take in CAAS. You won't be sorry. I met Richard Kiser there and was able to arrange a couple Alaskan tours for him. He stayed with us both times. A good picker and a great guy. Do a google search and read about him and listen to some of his picking. Ah......it's about 20 below today. Dan
@BBosage Don't think I could handle a motorbike ride that far (may 40 years ago), but I remember you giving me brouchers about the Nashville CAAS back at the music store. I think I would love that event. I listened to Richard Kiser and loved what I heard - love the style and the praise and worship tunes. Pretty cool that you were able to associate with him in AK. Keep in touch. Jim
Hey Jim, nice job. I miss your smiling face at Matanuska Music. Paul Holmberg is one of my favorite singers. I have played for him when he came to our church. If you are ever back up here perhaps the three of us can get together. Now that you live in the lower cantankerous 48, maybe I'll run on to you at CAAS one of these days. Dan in Wasilla
@BBosage Hey Dan - so nice to hear from "Wasilla".....I really miss Alaska, but am enjoying the weather here - (I ride my motorcycle every month of the year - it's 50 degrees today - January 2nd). I haven't seen Paul for a long time now; I know he spends a lot of time in Florida, chasing the NASCAR events. Hope you stay in touch. Jim
Absolutely beautiful! I wish you had a tutorial or even a closer-up version of what you're doing on the neck so I could learn it. I'm currently teaching myself this song on an acoustic guitar in open "D". I will be playing it at a memorial service on 01/07, and in church after that. Wish me luck! When that's done, I'd like to learn every version of this song that's out there, and maybe even, with God's help, my own arrangement. You're definitely on the list!
@HogWhitman Thanks so much for those nice comments. Sorry, I don't have any tabs or tutorials, but I'm not doing anything difficult; I think if you watch and listen a few times you can figure out everything that I'm doing and if I can help with any part, let me know and I'll do my best to walk you through a part. God bless, Jim
@locrian38 Yes, this is my arrangement....unfortunately, I don't have music or tabs - I do everything by ear. But the chords are simple - Just A, E, A, A7, D, A, E7, A.
Thank you for your kind comments. We appreciate your views and comments. Yes, the Elitist (Chet Signature) guitar is a great guitar - it plays as good as it sounds. Thanks again. Jim

Well done Jim/Deb!
Is that your arrangement? What are the chords, or do you know where I can get them?
