  • awesome job,looks great :)

  • Guys what spray it is ?

  • @D1majes spray can of VHT Niteshades spraycan paint

  • you may want to switch all of your light bulbs to either LEDs or SMDs(much brighter) to compensate for the black coat.

  • to clear up any questions

1x spray can of VHT Niteshades spraycan paint

2x sheets of 1200-2000 grit sandpaper

    1x bucket of soapy water

1x 3M blue delicate masking tape for bits you dont want to spray

1x spray can of clear gloss/Laquer for protection otherwise Niteshade paint will chip

1x Cream Cut and Polish (like Macguire's Mother's etc.)

as far as coats go 3 is plenty. its very dark almost black. anything more than 3 and cops will look at it more and more.

follow video this video and win =)

  • was it easy to paint on a windy day?

  • @adamH108TAWhy is it necessary to use sand paper on the tail light?

  • @09shamsabadis because paint does not stick to a shiny smooth surface very well

  • the heaveier the coasts of clear the less flat the final look will look

  • Would pressure washing my car or going threw a car wash bring this paint off though? Or will it stay on?

  • @TheVampireknight44 the car in the video has been pressure washed several times now and the paint has been fine.

  • How many bottles u use to do this?

  • @dREAMING805 2 spray cans

  • Or you could just have made it in the Knight Rider Style :) Put some perpex covers over the taillights :D

  • whats the clear coat product name you used?? going to do this on my 84 trans am with gta style lights

  • NIGHTRIDER!

  • what did u spray on it in the begining?

  • @bmota41 just water :)

  • @AdamH108TA what grit sand paper did you use?,and were you looking for that flat black look or glossy?either way it came out good.

  • @hghsdvi

Haha! go fly a plane into a building and you will get nothing but death, no virgins in Heaven for you. :)

  • Good video but check out johnsn10 's video on how to tint tail lights for a better way to make your strokes when you use aerosol. (start spraying off of the piece, then across the piece, and off the other side)

  • what is the name for the tinting paint u used for that

  • @thunderair Savage Tail Light Tinting Paint, 400ml aerosol.

  • @thunderair there is something called VHT NightShade the VHT part number for that is SP99

  • I bear witness that no God but Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah

  • @hghsdvi shut up.

  • @hghsdvi dude, you really aren't bright in the head are you?

  • Cool mod! One of my first custom builds was a 1969 Firebird. Started with 1 full car in bad shape, another car with no engine but some good body parts. Extra engine, extra rear end, extra Ram Air II heads and a good 400 4-bolt main block out of a 1969 Pontiac Wagon. Balanced the engine when I built it. Big cam, Hi-comp alum pistons. Holly double pumper. Munci 4-speed. Racing clutch. Lowered. Limo black windows. Slammed. Primer gray. Evil looking and sounding car. Nice work on your TA!

  • is this legal in the state of washington?? not washington dc the other one

  • nice

  • paint tinting is not legal in alot of states.

  • what car is it? & great job.

  • @Hachithe8 Thnx man, 1988 Firebird.

  • yes.. go really really light for first coat,,, helps it not crack!

  • Taillights Came Out Lookin Great
