Huckabee went around telling everyone how many times he cut taxes in Arkansas, to paint himself as a tax-cutter. But that's another half-truth. The other half is that Huckabee raised taxes much more than he cut them. But he knew that the average person would be impressed hearing "I cut taxes 87 times."
Yea, but Arkansas also has different policy in place on clemency, so please do not think that Romney has been mister honest in that regard. Huckabee got an enormous number of requests for clemency, 92% were denied.
Do you realize that you are bearing false witness and does it matter to you? You just falsely accused Romney of being dishonest. The clemency laws in Arkansas in no way take away from the point Romney made about Huckabee granting too many.

Many people have a great initial impression of him. He is great with words, has an innocent looking face and an "aw shucks" demeanor, but he puts all of those natural characteristics to use in manipulating people.

Dude, really, you may not prefer Huckabee to Romney but there is really no excuse for comments like this.
I at least recognize that even though Huckabee was my first pick, Romney is not a bad guy and would make a good president.
