No, this doesn't seem interesting, which is one of the reasons why it probably has not been picked up yet. At least I'm hoping it hasn't been picked up.

It's also not a a good representation of gay blacks, but isn't a bad one either. It is what it is - tired. The premise is tired, the drama is tired and the Hotboyz look tired.

What's so "hood" about one MAN referring to another one as his MOTHER? This show is not protraying African-American urban gay men in a good light. This "crew" has "members" who escort, have drinking/drug abuse issues, and sleep with each others boyfriends, ex's etc. THESE DUDES DON'T REPRESENT ME, and we damn sure don't them to continue to perpetuate the negative image that many have of African-American urban men that is already out there. These dudes are NO ONE'S ROLE MODEL.

This image and the hotboys are real, and you make it sound as though it isnt. However it is unfair to suggest or to think that all African American gay men act this way.

Yes these guys are real, I KNOW A FEW OF THEM. But as I mentioned, I think there should be another group of men that a reality show on urban gay men could focus on. One of the hotboyz (Rah) is an escort than comes to DC to recruit young boys for a wealthy suitor, the other one (SeanDon) is a wanna be model, the other one (Walt) is a choroegrapher/stylist (who isn't nowadays), these aren't doing nothing special.
