one of the two songs from the film aradhana which had Mohd. Rafi singing for Rajesh Khanna. infact S.D. Burman had recorded these two songs first before all other songs and then became very ill.

R.D. Burman filled in while SD was ill, and then used Kishore for all remaining songs, and the rest is history, as Kishore made a booming comeback and won 7 filmfare awards till Rafi made a comeback to take the award in 1977 with R.D's "kya hua tera wada".

what u said is somewhat true.. but aradhana did not do real damage as rafi saahabs output was not affected until andaz and kati patang, where kk really shot to levels of popularity plus ppl backstage illtreated rafisaab so he decided to sing less and do concerts in london etc.. later as u say he came back... he won 6 ff and 4 nationals.. and kk won 8 filfares, 4 of which were after rafi's passing.
