The trailer makes it seem like Jennifer Connelly's character was a sort of antagonist, like she might have gone after her husband and Kate Winslet's character. It makes the film seem like a thriller, versus a drama with occasional thriller elements. True, that probably makes the film more marketable, but it's a misrepresentation of the film; it's not a thriller, and there really are no antagonists, just victims.

The movie is technically about a paroled paedophile who has returned home the lives of the others kind of overshadows this-he doesn't actually commit any offences but the other people around him are. It is a good movie, they made Kate look dowdy in it as she is a lovely looking lady-the end seemed strange to me too-a kind of anti climax really.
