GUYS! i figured it out, if you to hide the redstones for this, dig 3 layers down and do exactly what he does and make sure the repeaters is facing the the right way just like in the video when i did it it worked just do what he does

Is it possible to do this and make the wiring a bit more compact?, I've finally gotten the wiring to my door perfect ish =/ You will not believe the Bs I went through trying to do this and not know how to but like all others I figured it out. But I was trying to self install a second leaver to open and close the door on both sides without the know how to do it which is why I'm here cause I got frustrated and needed some pointers. But im currently doing this inside of a mountain help me out?

for some reason whenever i tried to open the door i heard a sizzle sound and it only worked that once, then it stopped working and i cant figure out what is wrong, all the wiring is correct

Thanks so much for the uploads. I followed all your tutorials and this works great. If you do make another video, I'd like to see you convert the levers to buttons. :3 It gives it more of a clean look in my opinion. I'm sure this is probably really easy for some people, but I'm a total novice when it comes to redstone circuitry.

@OniLODSamuraiFan they extend the distance power can run through redstone, so the power can stretch a further length, because the power 'dissapates' until running out after 15 blocks of redstone.

Hello!

I followed the guide on the hidden door and it worked like a charm, however this does not. The back lever is not powering the door for some reason and the wiring to it makes one of the pistons stop working. Can u do a video on hidning it underground? It might help cuz I have no idea of what I'm doing wrong. I figure it might be the connection between the piston redstne setups and the second lever.

I have followed all your steps in hiding the redstone stuff and now I want a switch on the inside but in your tutorial you didnt bury it and thats where my problem is. @mrisacjohansson If you're talking about the redstone underground powering the bottom pistons, you don't actually need that unless you have stairs coming out from the door. :)

Liked your video a lot but I solved it different because of a lack of space. I had the problem that I was building on sand but I managed to build an XOR gate beneath the mechanics of one of the rooms. It's quite a bit smaller than yours. It's the same size as the one you had before adding your XOR gate and it's all well hidden without having to go around everything....

@GuruGamersUK Cool thanks! i also made another secret door where the lever is under a tree and you destroy the tree's bottom block of wood to get to the lever. Then when you enter the base, you pull a lever which activates a piston under the lever, which destroys the lever, then the door closes. (Sorry if that was too confusing lol)

@ghrtugihugih4ugihaug You could wire the 3rd switch to another XOR (the dirt and torches at the end), and hook that XORs output to the input of the one shown in the video. Add as many switches as you like, using one new XOR per switch.

Hi, I followed all your tutorials and built it into the side of the mountain. It was working perfectly. All of a sudden it stopped working after I started patching some spots up that had redstone. It stopped working so I looked around for hours, even the spots I covered. The problem was my dual switch area, no matter which levers I pressed the redstone torches would not change. I tried to figure it out for 30 minutes and couldn't find a solution, do you know what I can do to fix this?

@redstoneconfusehelp Make sure that the redstone leading to the torches is straight (as in, where the redstone goes to the torches, there needs to be one block of straight redstone before a corner), not a corner. (shown in the video, but not explained, sorry).

@GuruGamersUK if you change the top with redstones like what you did in the hiding of redstones you can remove the bottom it will work perfectly so you can just wire your back switch in the middle of the entrance it self and of course under it :p

I tried doing something like that today, it only moved the block underneath the track and knocked the track off the block. The only thing i think you can do with rails is moving blocks out of the tracks way so it can go down an alternate route.

Thank you very much. I had a few problems but I managed to sort it out by placing additional or changing positions of repeaters. After that I just had to change the settings on the different repeaters to get the pistons to the same timing.
