@eggynapalm yea i like trance/progressive house and more mainstream dj's like deadmau5, tiesto, and ferry corsten. I'm trying to find new genres of electro to listen to; so far I've gotten into downtempo & nu jazz.
@tennisdude2000 Dude if you start with trance/house kinda stuff, you can't really explore back towards jungle. It was something you had to start with and enjoy when you were younger, and it then leads to other genres of dance music. You're exploring the wrong areas imo!

@tennisdude2000 Yeh opinons are great, i think tennis as a sport sucks because of match fixing outside the top 5. too easy to rig. shouldn't be a sport
FWIW I would have called this "Jungle" back in 92 but who fucking cares what it's called. Brilliant track from a golden era when all this shit was new. Not much goin on but rehash these days, at least in the mainstream.
i never said any different, you're right what you're saying, dont know what you're getting at. leave it there i came here to enjoy music not argue, too petty for me
@monkeyjack67 Yes and so was i there! And i do not remember Drum and bass being used as a catch all title until about 93. The prodigy used it on a version of Charly but as a descriptive term. Jungle was born from darkcore, dnb was born from jungle, the two did NOT co-exist!
Groundbreaking stuff - It was one of, if not the first, to use pitch shifting effects on drum tracks, and that's not the only good thing about this tune, it samples Sarah Connor's line from The Terminator (fantastic film) "We're talking about things I haven't done yet!" - like pitch shifting drums perhaps!
The very moumnet i heard this track i was 16 i think that was 92- or 93 but anyway i just knew that i loved this style of music and wanted and needed to be part of it.....What an absoluty amazing era, mput those monky n-dubs and all this pooh nowadays to shame...This is the proper unwatereddown real stuff. Love this times and never will forget them....
This Is One Of Those Tunes That Is Usually Mixed Up With A Load Of Crap On The Old Skool Mixtapes But This Is An Excellent Tune. 09/10. Justin Langford.
these guys worked well on the pitch shifting and time stretching, as the beat pitches up the beat is expanded to fill the time - this is one of thise chewns where the beat has the melody too :-)
haha yeah sorry but he you are a tit , its the james brown funky drummer sample - probably 2nd most sampled loop beat , amen being the first now (back in llate 80s early 90s they were about even with JB being most sampled in the 80s i think).
@fruitbat1979 I wouldn't say the best tune ever, there are a lot of good tunes out there in the old skool jungle scene. definately a top tune for 1992 though in my top 5 records for this year.
i'm sorry but this entire jungle genre just sucks
