i know there using cpbeta gear i used it and when i was using i got baned for 100 hours! when 100 hours past on a full server there were lots of betas everyone on that server was a beta i was the only non beta but like 2 hours past they all got banned i think bcause one by 1 they were disapearing!

Cp has no way to detect whos a real beta or a fake beta, cp is maked by codes, The Beta hat is one code, the hacker some way got the beta hat code and outed it on the web page, and it is probably someone that works on Club Penguin. I know this cuz my dad is a web page designer, and all games are made by codes.
