Boonie Mayfield is easily a phenomenal producer & he was robbed against G Mo & should've advanced to the semi finals that night but saying he was the best producer there based on the 3 beats he played & lost with sounds like pure fandom & conjecture.

@AraBlak - It certainly SEEMS like you have an issue with Hannbal's stage show because that's what it looks like you are saying. In my opinion, the reason everyone at the contest was cheering for his beats was partially because of his mask and his stage show but also his beats were very entertaining for regular people to listen to. Alot of the producers brought tracks for rappers to rap over but what crowd wants to listen to 8bar loops repeating over and over and over.

Frank Dukes played 2 hot beats all night - one against Marcus D and one against Hannibal & they gave him a decision. I think it's amazing that there were 1000 people at the battle but 10,000 people have come out the woodworks supporting random producers.

I was there that night & the crowd wasn't feeling those type of beats until after Just Blaze & Alchemist had there battle. After they battled, it went from being an 808 contest to being an East coast beat contest. After that, Frank got a lot more respect.

I was there & I thought it was a fantastic event. I'm a girl so I like music that moves me & alot of the producers in the contest had great beats. I really like Sky scrapa & I really liked Marcus D. Deuno & Frank & Jmac were real good too & Boon doc was great. Hannibal was my favorite but he & frank had a great battle. At the end of the day, all the guys were amazing & I hate whe i see people downing creativity. If you weren't there on the stage, stop hating. Let them have there moment.

The crowd didn't cheer for Frank til his absolute LAST beat. I was in the crowd & we only really cheered for G Mo, boon Doc, J Mac, Marcus D (he had some bangers), Sky Scrapa (at least in the beginning) & Hannibal, who they cheered for all night. I personally liked some of Hannibal's joints more than others (Punch out was cool but Universal studios was whatever) but he was the favorite all night.
