They were preparing for a new CD and CLint Black's label "Equity Music Group" folded. I believe "American Radio" hit in the upper 50's on the charts and "Weight of the World" did not chart.

They are an 'unsigned major' right now and I really believe that getting off of Black's label may be the big break Carolina Rain needs and it may take a few years-----it did with James Otto after his first hit in 2001-2002
