This is one of those moments where Dexter shows his human side.

He really isn't a cold blooded killer. He's just a person who's gotten emotionally numb via a childhood trauma.

A lot of people are put off watching this show because of the whole serial killer thing. Even though it is one of the most violent shows I've seen, it is also one of the sweetest.

I also think Harry Morgan is James Remar's best performance.
