But in the catholic faith you can confess your sins to God and he forgives you, no matter how bad your sin was. But confession cannot get you out of trouble with the law. 2) By German law, boy age 10 had to join the HitlerJugend as of 1936; one could join voluntarily as young as 6. Thus he joined no later then at 10; entering the senior HJ at 14 when he began Nazi military service.
3) By his own words he joined WILLINGLY.
4) His dad worked for the SS
5) Thousands of boys bravely refused to join; either fleeing or aiding the resistance

The Nazi propaganda machine was extremely effective, even more so on the young. For most children at the time, regardless of their opinion of Jews or anything else, Hitler was a hero. Almost every German child (not to mention the adults) at the time fell under it's spell. I don't think he needs to be ashamed of that anymore than any other German.

Nowhere in the bible does it forbid one from joining something like the Hitler Youth. There was nothing inherently sinful about joining such an organization according to the bible.
"Nazi occult ideology" was nothing more than racial indoctrination ("Jews, Gypsies and Slavs are inferior, Germans are the best, etc"). These kids weren't being told to worship satan or anything of the sort.

You need to pick up your bible and read it. You think the bible preaches equality and peace? It does that about as much as the Koran does. Sit and read, instead of accepting the watered down, "We love everyone" Christianity that people practice today.

Even though they do not know or believe in God, yet God has given them the grace be moral persons. They believe in the teaching of Christ, even though they do not know Him.

He was a decent man, personally, who would not knowing harm anyone. He was flawed & easily led & manipulated into a puppet by his Opus Dei inner circle (with Ratz at the helm).
Ratz on the other hand has nothing but darkness, treachery & salacious evil in his eyes, permeating his character. He serves...the Other Guy. Not God.
