They're great dancers, loved watching this. But, I don't feel it's fair for a current contestant to dance on the show with anyone other than his partner. This is the first yr I've taped DWTS--I only watch JR--but heard Derek's won several times. It seems quite likely that watching a dancer of his caliber dance both inside & outside of the competition would result in people voting for him based on both performances, which doesn't seem fair. I'm not bashing him; great dancer & great performance.

I had no idea that Derek had hurt himself! What is it with these two? For Great Balls of Fire, Julianne had just gotten out of the hospital after having her appendix out, and for this Derek dislocated his shoulder? And these are two of the best dances that have ever been on the show! That is talent!!
