he didn't move his leg, his caregiver was pushing back on his foot which made his knee bend... his fingers did move, I think... most quadriplegic folks have reflex spasms in their bodies, though -- it is an involuntary thing, not something they do on purpose. So, in some ways, his body can move (or twitch or jerk), but *he* can't make it move... ok?
@glueinkcell You also have partial vs complete paralysis. Depending on how bad the break was, they may have gross motor skills but not fine motor skills, meaning they can move the large muscle groups but not the small ones. Again, it all depends on the severity of the damage.

I'm only half disabled that is the bottom half and I thank my lucky stars every day .more on sunny days as they are the best .
