to have a problem with time moving, when having fun with people i notice others caught up
in the moment fully, me too, but at a certain stages or stages i would keep looking at the time thinking 'oh all this fun is going to end in 3o mins etc..', i basically can't get enough of even 3 hours when enjoying myself, whilst others can do with just 1 hour, i can pass hours like others pass minutes, are u the same??
When I listen to you, there are so many things in your way of thinking that remind me of myself.
I'm an INFP, and I love knowing that because it makes me feel connected to other people, but don't put me in a box. I'm a person, not an INFP person. ;-)
I really connected with "...we can still like appreciate and just experience the moment, I guess". Full frontal iNtuitiveness! (ENTP, so I know all about Ne...)
@Jeffreyvnlk INFPs are not the rarest, fyi. INFJs are (and there are a few others that are less rare than INFP as well). Those that gravitate towards the suicidal it is because they gravitate towards their traits being limitations and sources of victimhood rather than strengths and gifts for thriving. No matter what your personality preferences are, you free will and ability to choose your life's direction is always still freely yours.
Hahaha for like a full minute I thought that there was someone sitting next to you on the couch. Then I realized that it was your reflection. Wow. Anyway, great video!
thankyou for making this video...its a relief for me
because when i was a teen i thought iam the only one who have this thoughts on me but now that i know that somebody are thesame feeling as me i feel iam not alone :)
Getting away from that. I don't think that anyone could provide good insight to their own type. They would usually have come to a similar or same solution. Also. You are almost exactly like one of my friends.
As a INFP ive always been scared of.. well failing and then trying to be someone that im not. im only 16. always been told im mature for my age and ahead emotionally and socially aware more than m8s etc. And i spent my time trying to get to be the popular group.. once i was there. it wasnt all it was cracked up to be in my head :/ And thats when i inedvertainlty (dyslexic too -.- ) started to not be ties down to one group.. and did a typical INFP thing of not wanting to be labeled in a box!
Another INFP here, just weighing in to say how much I appreciate you making this video. I can definitely relate with the part where you mention that you tend to become very analytical and overthink things when you're not happy or satisfied with something - but that the 'real meaning' can only be felt, and that we should take time to connect with ourselves in the present and enjoy what is around us. In any case you seem like an interesting person and thanks for sharing your thoughts with us :)
me:...yesterday I was teaching you how to print paper and you started talking as if you knew everything about a computer and printer; YOU KNOW SHIT. I HAD TO SHOW YOU WHERE THE FREAKING TURN ON BUTTON IS. And thus you yell at me and slap me saying im wrong when, oh, look! I WAS RIGHT. THAT BUTTON ABOVE THE DELL LOGO? YEAH, THAT'S THE START BUTTON NOT THE FUCKING PRINT BUTTON!
@MidnightFlower13 i know hwo you feel though that kind of stuff highly ignores me i think its because we are very introverted and it just stresses us out hahah.
I live with an istj dad. yeah. imagine conversation at the supper table:
dad: fucking politics, always wrong. im the right one! they should make me president! whole country is full of dipshits.
me: stop being rude, dad. All you talk about is those elections. How about we stray away from those things and talk about something else. And FYI, you are RARELY right.
dad: I'm always right, you fucktwad no good slut whore!
me: DON'T YOU DARE TALK TO ME LIKE THAT. yesterday...(continued in next comment)
Your videos really do make a difference. It's amazing to me to think about how many people you can affect by just a kind word or some friendly advice. It really does ripple out in ways we can't even imagine, and with the interent now people can reach even more than before, inspiring hundreds or even thousands without even realising they are. Life is like a giant pond. And now, rather than a few pebbles being dropped in occasionally (as it was before phone/internet)...there are steady millions.
INFPs are geared towards having faith in something which is probably why many are religious. However i feel that religion is only option, an option people choose because they need to believe in something. Personally i think most religions are so obviously faulty and hypocritical which is why I'm an atheist (or maybe agnostic). I would like to have faith in something though...
Ah.. always nice to see one isn't alone. Adding to the mix, I'm an INFP myself. An atheistic, idealistic, and consequently a nihilistic one. I thrive on cynicism, misanthropy and depression, suck with people (or maybe that's just incompatibility) and rarely venture past my metaphorical 10-cm-comfort-zone. My life has turned into a staring contest with the world and i'm yearning for someone to actually want to get through my barrier of asociality, as pathetic as that is. There, i said it.
I am myself surprised to know that am an INFP too. but one more observation of mine about this certain type of personality is that we seldom make other poeple understand ourselves properly. dunt knw if thats correct but its just my observation
@adeelmuzaffaralam077 Not necessarily. I've learned that I'm actually very good at describing my personality to others, however, not many other types understand or relate to my description of myself. Most hear my entire description and mentally put a 'WEIRD' stamp on my forehead in red ink. lol. Only some will understand and therefore find you interesting and attempt to know more.
I used to really give my parents the blues because I was always getting emotional when I tried to explain my obsession with figuring out who I was before I lived my life. lol. But I have made a decision that I'm tired of being depressed and indecisive so, I'm focusing more on the expressive side of my INFP-ness. I've also started to focus on my love for helping others and connecting and uniting people. I'm in college to be a filmmaker. I've found that I love expressing myself through film. =)
@esyphillis101 I've found that it only takes as long as you allow it to take. It is a steady work in progress but putting myself in situations where I am forced to think about helping and serving others and giving of myself helps me to stop thinking about myself so much and realize that there are people who appreciate what I do for them. The emotion will always be there, so find a creative outlet for it. :)
my enfp ex bf is making me so depressed. and i am an infp but borderline intp... and sometimes im so anxious that it sounds like i don't care. havent talked to him in a year. then he sends me a fb msg saying to call him(an i hear from friends that he misses me), so then i call him and i sound really cold, just because i'm suspicsious as to why hes calling me. so then he percieves this as a rejection(which i read about with enfp's).so we were supposed to hang out and he never calls me back..
Anyone know how common INFP atheists are? I am the only INFP atheist that I know of. Apparently religious views are bit with INFP personalities, but I am essentially the opposite lol
I love your outlook in life, your advices (I can totally relate with 'em too!), your personality, your carefree attitude, your artworks (videos), etc... I wish I can meet a girl like you here!
i'm infj & also relate to being a disorganised perfectionist. i tend to become depressed & disillusioned over existential issues so im glad you've found a positive attitude which works for you. i also think sometimes when we're searching for answers, we're not always ready to accept them, to "feel" the meaning of life, hence reality appears to fall short of the possibilities- some of which we may envision to go against our psychological inclinations, possibly as a sort of defense mechanism.
maybe shadow Fi blindsides my perception of seeing value in almost everyone/everything. as an enneagram 4, mundane things seem to suck all the meaning out of life, but a celebrity with an exciting life would take comfort in doing everyday things. i understand its necessary as long as there's balance & you're doing all you can to manifest your dreams.
I appreciate and value you a lot! :) You're a great source of positive vibes and inspiration. I like how you influence me in a positive way. You're making the world a better place. I understand that MBTI only partly describes the complex & unique beings we are. Ideally I would like to have the best aspects of all the types. :)
Wow, you seem a lot like how I would like to be! I'm an INFP too, but I find it very difficult to have such a positive outlook on life. You seem to have so much figured out, and are happy with life!
@ETERNALinstants omg, i totally relate to that. I'm an INFP, I'm in highschool, and I'm just in this state where I started getting low grades and all, getting depressed in the afternoons wondering why certain things are the way they are.
