I first heard the slower version of this song (from "Subsequent Pleasures"), years ago, and when I heard this version a few months later, I was thrown for a loop. But this version quickly became my favorite of the two. I'm actually amazed that this isn't better liked among CoX fans. It's probably my favorite of their early songs.
