I have to admit that I've been a fan of the Manhattans all my life. HOWEVER, I was born in '74, and I know virtually nothing about them prior to the arrival of Gerald Alston. I'm VERY HAPPY to see this. One thing that I can see about these guys is that I ALWAYS enjoyed watching them step. They never get credit for that part of the game. Cool to see a younger Blue Lovett.

Wow, this is the best! Better then any music video that's out today. Beyonce and Taylor Swift music videos have been called the best of all times, well people haven't seen this. Music videos of artists back then doing their hit tunes were rare, but what is out there is worth seeing and so enjoyable. No extravagance, no trash or filth, just pure feel good soul. The Manhattans are my favorites, their so unsung. A story should be done on them on TVOne's Unsung. I love their sound and choreography.

I wonder who are the people sitting on the park benches. Do they know they are in the presence of the Manhattans? They should consider themselves lucky to have had the opportunity to be a small part of this video and get so close to a great singing group. If any of them are still alive, I wonder if they remember this being filmed. Someone could say: "Yeah, I was in a Manhattans video back in the early '70s. I sat on a park bench and watched them sing and I'm on the camera. It was groovy."
