Fat Allen is a joke live,only growls and growls on studio, cause live he sucks,Roy from Kamelot is good but his vocal range and high notes are very weaks,Jorne is the only who deserves a lot of respect! I went to DT show last year 03/20/10 and James was fucking amazing, even on high notes even on growls and drives,this guy is like wine,gets better with the pass of time!!

@TheFacilidade Have you listened to Khan pre-2000? His high notes are (were) fucking orgasmic(Mostly in Conception and TFL), still hoping he'll book some coaching lessons to get rid of all the tension, and re-join Conception, who in my opinion at an age of 17-20 was atleast as good as DT. Also, do @ before the comment so we get notified, cheers.

@MrSilentDoubleA @TheFacilidade Great to see others mention Conception as one of the best. Khan var an interesting singer at this time (and got boring in Kamelot with the "power metal"-thing). Tore Östby is among the best guitarists out there in my opinion. He's actually in my top 3. So yes, Conception really SHOULD do something together again.

Leaving4Life i almost forgot, about DVD's, please watch chaos in motion tour (LINES IN THE SAAAND) or Score 20 years, all the old songs are perfectly played like on cd! Charles cannot sings as high as James!

@TheFacilidade LaBrie is not even close to be the best in the progmetal scene anymore either..he was when he first joined. That prize (imo) goes to Russel Allen, Roy Khan or Jorn Lande. Also, I agree that Dominici was(Is?) bad live, but Labrie's usally not really shining on CD or live anymore either.

LaBrie was only good in the beginning when he first joined, but every live video of James pretty much sucks, his voice breaks and he is off pitch.. even on their official DVD's. Dominici's voice may not be as strong or versatile but it SOUNDS COOLER. DT sucks vocal wise, they should just be instrumental like the Liquid Tension project or get a sick vocalist like Halford or King Diamond.
