I have to admit that I am not at all a Akon fan but I love James' music and when I heard it the first time I really thought it was bad but that was probably b/c of the huge difference of their voices and after listening to it again with an unbiased mind I have to admit that he actually did a good job (except of the refrain)

I didn't care for this rendition at first,, bt after listening to it again I found myself really liking it! I actually met Akon at the Atlanta airport and his voice is (w/out a doubt) a distinguishable/unique one that I can understand people either liking or disliking.

Commentors should realize though, that a 'Cover' of something implies tht one artist takes the work of another artist and makes it their own! The point of a cover is not to mimic the original song in its entirety.
