@adzthejuggler123 : there's no magic clubs for learning 5 clubs, only pratice, method and patience. Take the clubs you prefer with 3 and 4 and just add another one. Obviously heavier clubs are harder for muscles but do have other advantages like better feedback feelings.
Personnaly I start learning with Henry's Pirouette, then try renegade Fathead, Delphines and now am juggling Albatros so... As I say no magic clubs.
@adzthejuggler123 Hey! well px3s are considered good clubs, I've juggled no clubs but I've all the reviews because the first buy's the pickiest, delphins are endorsed by Michael Karas, renegades are extremely durable and loved by many, although with decos, some say the tapes come off easy, henry's, no clue, hope it helps :) I would go with px3s or renegades, px3 pm (pirouette moulded) is discounted on oddballs.com :)
It's interesting how in the 5 club cascade, the top of the club's body sort of 'stabs' the crossing point. In the 7 club cascade, the knob-end of the handle 'stabs' the crossing point.
Well i have crappy clubs and im looking at buying new ones so i was just wondering. . . ( I did not meen do you suggest using them for the 5 club cascade.)
Is there a big difference between cascade with a gap and 5? I struggle equally with both and dont really find the missing club easier, rather it just off balances the juggle.
There is no real answer. Some really talented juggler can master 100+ throws within 2 years (perhaps 1). Most of the time it takes 3 to 5 years to have it clean. But from my own experience I juggle 'till 10 years and I don't even consider me to master 5 clubs clean.
Clubs are bigger object. You need to throw them more precisely. And you need to control the rotation carefully. Also I can do more than 30 min with 5 balls and less than 5 with 5 clubs. So I guess it's more difficult, elsowhere I should be able to do the same time.
Thank you sooo much! I worked on 552 and 55550 for a long time, and as of today i can consistently get 30-35 catches of 5!!! Thanks, garnav!!

Absolutely right and my guess is that in a 9 club cascade the top will stab the crossing point again.

Yes I intended to do a 3 hours explanation video but Youtube didn't accept it... their fault ;-)
garnav 2 years ago
@garnav You could have split it up into multiple videos but that's just a hassle...Stupid youtube.

Thanks, but you should give more explanations about each step...

Deserving of >23,000 views. Excellent practice suggestions. Rare to find this level of production too.

it's important if there are long or short clubs? what do you use? (longhandled or shorthandled)
aallunavailablee 4 years ago
could u use trriples instead
?
Qualask 4 years ago
Yes but it's not the most common way and not the easiest one. I actually have much longer runs with doubles than triples.

sellenger 4 years ago
actually I found the cascade with a gap more difficult when I started. But now it really helps me to have my 5 more solid.
garnav 4 years ago
Mmm ok, i'll keep on trying. This is a great resource by the way. There is amazingly little taught about 5 clubs online and even at the EJC.

very true.

you know what I'd really like to see? A five ball Boston mess!
MuffinBakersGrimm 4 years ago
I'm really happy for you. Anyway I'd prefer to see a 7 club backcross and I can't do it either.

How long would you say that it takes to master this? from the day you start juggling...
