  • Hey Thanks

    I help'd it More

  • its a nice tutorial but rain is not displaying on my viewport and on rendering i can see the particles only which is on like a star shape thats it ...tell me someone what should i do

  • @mkaleemk : watch the part 2 of this tutorial .. so you will get to know how to render them.. ;)

  • @mkaleemk hai, i had the same problem. i solved it to append a "shape instance" to my events in particle view.

there is a button where you can select geometry for your particles. I made a small raindrop out of a sphere.

  • is there anyway i can just download the file??

  • How do i change my particles from ticks? Its not showing up like rain. Just ticks. Please help. :/

  • @Oreo1000 : Its easy.. In your particle flow tree you have a Display Node. Click on it and on right hand side you get options for changing display type from ticks to lines and many more..

  • it all works in viewport but why dont my particles show up in render?, i dont see any textures or any material? anything am doing wrong? please anyone reply today i need this for tomorrow university. thank you

  • @PAVMusicProduction : Follow the second part for 'rendering rain particles' .. you will get it in my video list..

  • @nicks1008 thank you man !!!! love you!!! :P

  • That was very helpful. Thank you!

  • @mankusto : glad you liked it! :)

  • hi,its amazing but iwant to know what particle system do you use for rain genereate,,,,its only pf source, and all dat things in warps, please help me......

  • @prajvalkamble : Its the same particle system like we have in 3ds max,

there is a plane on the top for generating rain i renamed it "Rain Generator" manually for the sake of keeping things organized.

in short .. Nothings fancy.. rain generator is just a renamed plane.

  • my rain wont show up from the plane, instead it hows up at a random place in teh scene coming down as a straight line :S

  • I cant find the generator at 2:10 .I have to everything step by step please help

  • @AlexFotinos : I just Renamed 'Plane' to "Rain Generator" .. for the sake of keeping things organized .. you can have have any kind of surface for emitting particles eg Sphere , box .. etc ..

  • @nicks1008 Thanks a lot

  • thanks also looking to render it, when i render it nothing happends. how do i add shape operator to it

  • @atifebrahim : Particle flow tree , append a shape operator same as adding Force operator ..

Still there are few tweaks n tricks needed.. ill make a tut of it within month end .

  • how do you get it to appear as a rain drop, mine appears as crosses ?

  • @atifebrahim : Select the Splash Event's "Display" Operator - and in property editor Chose 'Dots' instead of ticks ..

  • Which renderer do you use?

It doesnt come up on the default.

  • @dehBix : this is not an actual render. Its a viewport preview .. (Animation - Make preview) For proper rendering you will need to add Shape operator in it.

  • @nicks1008 Where do I find the Shape Operator?

  • @dehBix : in particle flow tree, ON your first event

Right click - append - operator - Shape

    and same with second event

Still there are few tweaks n tricks needed.. ill make a tut of it within month end ..
