I saw this show when i was around 10 years old! It was a birthday present XD It was amazing, Lipizzaners are like the ballarinas of the equestrians, and I'll never forget that one horse that came out and it's mane and tail was coverd in glitter. XD It's a beautiful show and I strongly suggest you go see it <3
no offence i love horses and i feel there great animals and i know people bond with them but i believe the most beautiful way to see a horse is in a beautfiul country side where there free and they dont have all this stuff on them i feel this is a beautiful vid and i feel you did great but i believe the best dressage show is in the wild horses are wild animals just like aquarium animals and zoo animals so if you agree zoo animals should be left in the wild why not believe horses should too.
@equineluva97 The only shots I see which could be mistaken for bucking are actually landing from a capriole which is a leap up in the air and then striking out with the hindlegs. It was used for kicking enemies in the head. You should look it up, its easy to find videos of the move and it really is quite impressive.
its not so much bucking if there's no throwing involved, they are simply caprioling and doing other complicated dressage moves like the piaffe. So no, they are not meant to buck, they are not bucking
These horses are not true white, but grey. You can tell this by the color of their muzzles, which show they have black skin. True whites actually have pink skin. If you notice on some of the horses in this video, where they have a pink snip on their noses, that is where the true white hairs are.
Grey horses are born black or dark bay, and as they grow older they go through the process of lightening from dark to a solid white. The process isn't age definitive, but varies from horse to horse.
"I hate tall people! Why is it that EVERY time one is at an event the tallest people end up Directly in front of the shortest people? Is it a cruel joke???"
It is a crule joke, blame the reality for it...
Althou, also we "normal tall" people gets slaped in teh face with this joke., Thou reality seems to put people with very strange hair (taht makes them taller) or those that tak/eat tings loud/makes noices infront of us insted...
amazing! The style makes it look so professional (and not to forget about the music!). Reminds me of the Spanish riding school in Austria. If you havent been there... well.. then you are missing out.
its not necessarily bucking. its a very controlled movement. as Sesmet said, its called the Capriole. only a select few horses have the athletic ability to do this
with regards to how harsh they are on the bits, you can tell they arn't. Did you see the little gentle rear, obviously she wasn't pulling on her horse.
I have a digital camera too, I always take pictures with it and they end up horrible because of the delayed shutter effect, but I found out that if you take the picture 1 second before the horse moves, you'll have a good picture. =]
lol. well i could see how that would offend u, but being short has way more perks, for instance u can crawl in tiny places and if ur a girl u usually get really cute guys and for some reason u can run really fast, even with short legs. so being short is actually a good thing. ;0 but if ur tall u only get one perk ,in my opinion, which is getting the best seats. lol
hm..the horses are very beautyful..but-these bits and spurs, the riders use..and the horses look like they are very under pressure. Sry but the horses don't look very lucky..
Make no mistake! These horses are extremely well cared for. These riders hardly use the bits and spurs at all. The spurs are more just decoration--part of the old Spanish uniforms. The horses are handled very gently and know exactly what they need to do, so even the slightest pressure from the reigns or rider's knees will give the horse his cue. That is what dressage is about--the perfect union between man and horse. No animals were harmed in the making of this film.
I got really blurry pictures too, but did the guy come out and tell you that you can't make videos of them? He did to us but he might not have for you so that's why I'm asking. Just curious.
I saw them in Cleveland. I totally agree with you Sesmet. When I went there there was this really tall guy in front of me and he was bald so everytime I took a picture it looked like there was a giant yellow moon in my picture and my pics turned out dark because of the lighting lol
I saw them too, in Dallas, we got free third row seats!!!!! my mom saw the "better team" as she said in spain! I ride dressage so this (to me) would be so weird to ride, but fun!
i saw that show too! SOOO COOL. but we were in the front row, but the lighting was so bad i couldnt get that good of pictures until the end! i love horses ssoooo much! i have horses, do you?
Excellent footage. Where was this show? They came into Tulsa here a year or two ago, but I was busy so I didn't get to go. They might come back once our new arena is finished.
i went to the show it was sweet...i rode a 3 yerd old stallion once...it was hard but he trusted me and we walked trot canterd and galloped we even jumped a 3 foot cross
If the horses were in pain the riders would be in the dirt and they wouldn't be world famous. If horses are in pain they will buck. My mare had some back pain for about a week and she was always bucking. We got her chyropracted and she was fine.
Just to warn you, White Stallion Productions contacted youtube about my vids I took, and I was forced to take my videos I took down due to "copyright infringement." They will likely pull the same b.s. when they find yours. Just letting you know so hopefully you can avoid the nonsense I dealt with.
They came to my town! I went to see them. Also a couple of years ago, they asked my barn if they could use 20+ stalls for all there lipps. And 1 had a glass eye! lol Anyway, we got the coolest picture you could ever get of all of them with their heads of their stalls in the isle with their ears perked!
