I agree this is 99% perfect. The old stage morley(R) pedal was key because during the solo you could step on it hard to really bring in the emphasis of the run. So basically this is as close to the recorded version that *I* have heard without the Morley. Every other cover of this on youtube brought tears of laughter to my eyes. The timing was off, the notes were off. Truly a horrible mess to laugh at. But this was *not* noise and every bent note and phrase was flawless. Thank you Kirk66676!

The music on the background causes confusion, that is a good trick if you want that nobody else notice small details like mistakes you don't pay attention due to the music on the background. Everybody knows the song, get a headset so we can realize the errors you make.

Actually, the amount of time you hold the cord at 1:00 to 1:03 is not really an issue. However, I would still suggest less vibrato. I would rate you in the top 3 overall and perhaps the best that I have seen playing Hotel California. Nice progression and finally someone who rips fast and smooth. A+

Get over it. Learn to play a solo lead. It's a lost art that should never have been lost in the first place with all the garbage bands that couldn't achieve this without a hell of a lot of work from the early '90s to present day "rock". Their problem is, they never tried. He did, and did successfully.

I think this is the best out of about 5 that I've seen on you tube. delwellsoulmusic's version is good, but too robotic and with not enough feeling. Kirk's just got that natural talent and feel that just flows, and his bends are all but perfect. I would like to hear it with slightly less reverb though - it would show off his talent even better.
