Every version of this song I hear, I love. I love the live acoustic version on Justified and Stripped, there was a darker, melancholy version on his website for a while, and there this one, The one from Left of Self Centered is still my fav though. It is so powerful and full of emotion. IMO the best vocal performance from Butch so far.

You know, Brand New will always be a favorite of mine; but I saw them live a few years ago and it was a miserable show. I've heard from other people that they loved them live, it wasn't doing anything for me. Butch puts on hands down, the best shows I've been to. That's saying a lot because I normally go to shows several times a week. Both Jesse and Butch are amazing songwriters, I don't think people can dispute that; but I'm not sure that I would say that Jesse is an all around better musician.

Great songwriter...artist...entertai­ner ! Not anybody knows that he`s written for such stars like Avril Lavigne, Pink, SR 71, Tommy Lee etc. !!! He mentioned in an interview, that he`s in somekinda perfect situation. Writing for above mentioned stars and producing them makes it possible to do his own stuff, without worrying about getting on a " MTV-Heavy-Rotation " or getting enough " Radio-Airplay " to pay his bills. Highly talented !!!
