I am not a scholar or Shiekh and not read many books but I also recommended Ihya Uloom Deen to everyone who asks what is a good "Islamic" book besides revelation. Truly an amazing work that people benefit even today.

@IslamicGoldenAge Show me where you can be arrogant in the Bible. His parents may have been Christian but unlike Islam, you cannot be born or baptized a Christian. You must believe and belief will determine your choices. Now you have true understanding of what his contradiction is...without faith, no matter what you were born, you cannot be Christian.

No one can claim to be a christian and claim to worship other things...he was probably raised christian but you cannot be a christian until you believe. When you believe, your actions will follow...this is what we say "tanaqD"

* Also, really amazing ...Yusuf Islam, the Surah that affected him was Surah Yusuf, and for Hamza Yusuf it was Surah Maryam and for Suhaib Webb it was Surah Maa'idah. *And Shaykh Hamza recited the ayah at 1:54 - علم كل اناس مشربهم "So every person knew his own spring of water"
