  • This is a legitimate means of how solar as well as wind power is legitimate to produce electricity, and that is there are weather filters on satellites that can produce more than enough electricity from outer space. Now it is not impossible for satellites that are being developed to both filter solar flares, as well as harness solar flares to produce more than enough solar power any where world wide in any climate! Now what has been done is a failed approach, and there is better!

  • @kjbhlogkh Solar panels, and wind mills are not efficient to produce electricity in a legitimate manner, which is true, however with all of what can be done to have alternative energy put to use does not mean that there has to be drilling for oil, because it is more than possible to use any alternative source of fuel by recycling bio-degradable compost that can be done with high tech industrial greenhouses, which no one ever talks about! The truth is that what can be done with plants is ignored!

  • @kjbhlogkh This something that no one ever talks about, and that is methane ethanol, and how it can be produced, which has the potential to far more efficient than what we are currently using, and it is safe for the environment! Now this extremely legitimate, and that is how industrial hemp can be used for construction, making paper, clothing, rope, and it can also be used for alternative fuel, which was not accounted for! So this has a legitimate explanation with what is important!

  • @kjbhlogkh Yes what I have mentioned is connected to the issue of alternative energy, and this is not about what is coming from either side, because this is about solving the problems with the wasteful throwaway society that we are living in, which needs to be accounted for on its own merit! Now with what has been mentioned with satellites, and all of these other ways with resources that can be used, should be used, need to be used, and are not is what this is all about! So drilling no answer!

  • @kjbhlogkh This is another fact that none of these people ever talk about, and that is with the information that is available involving satellites that have been mentioned energy from both innerspace, as well as outerspace can be harnessed to produce the electricity that is necessary, so this is something that should seriously be accounted for, and carefully accounted for!

  • ...Perhaps it is not the government's responsibility to create it, but they shouldn't have to suppress it either.

  • bob u are gonna have a stroke dude,,,,,,,!

  • @woodypolino If we don't start drilling then your not going to drive, fly, or ride the trains, we should build more drilling whale and drilling more oils or build high speed rail and drive electric car, but if its neither, we would have to go back to horses and wagons and steam trains and steam boats.

  • you should have Solar panels and Windmill not only your going green but If the city goes blackout then you have your own powersource to run you AC Refrigerator, while every one has to suffer without powers, now think about it.

  • This guy is dumb on this issue. I could go on but I'll just say read a book called The Emperor wears no clothes. If you read that then you will know that there is a great alternative energy and that the government DOES have to get involved because it's illegal.

  • @BlindMaphisto you talkin about hemp?

  • Ive got a windmill, and solar panels and i haveent paid an electric bill in 2 years, the electric company cuts me a check because i put power into the grid.

  • Bob is such an idiot that is impervious to facts. There is alternative energy sources but the oil and electric companies run a monopoly that makes it nearly impossible for them to become mainstream. And Bob you should be fighting to find alternative energy, because it will create jobs here instead of in Saudi Arabia. That is why we have these oil wars and we protected them from Iraq. We should be on the search for alt energy to stop money from going to the taliban and causing wars.

  • Why is there so many thumbs down? Are people this fucking stupid that they believe Bob is wrong!?

  • alternative sources are more expensive than things such as oil, coal, etc... on the short term. in long run, alternative resources are much more efficient and cheap, also socially cheaper, less toxic gasses from cars and factories= cleaner air in the city, which will improve health overall in the long run also... this things have to be done by a government, it's just how it is bob. whether we are socialist, a monarchy or communist, we need of governments to push things in.

  • You are SO full of shit. Of course it's the responsibility of the Government, no one else can do it. Private companies? It's there job to make money. Alternative Energy is not about money, no one says that it is cheaper than oil or atomic energy. It's about preventing climate change you dumb fuck.

And first I thought this video was kinda funny. That you could have so much passion about one issue. BUT ALL your video are exactly the same. Makes you look like an unconvincing fool!

  • @Prowsky You're the sheepo. Keep believeing what government says. Government is the biggest MAFIA out there. You honestly think they give a shit? They're in to make money like any other company. And Bob is right. It's not the government's job to be in the Energy business. Government is a problem , not a solution. Do your homework SHEEPO.

  • @alyr315 Well, then who is going to invent new technologie? And Bob is certainly not right. About anything.

  • @Prowsky What he's saying that you don't understand, is that until it becomes profitable, alternative energy is not going to happen. And just so you know, everything in this world is about money. Most things. And the desire to make money just about trumps everything else, including saving the enviornment.

If you truly care about saving the enviornment, take matters into your own hands. Start a company, Do something. Don't say its the government's responsibility.

  • @something01992 "And the desire to make money just about trumps everything else, including saving the enviornment" That's why it's the goverments responsibility to deal with it.

Do you think education should only exist in so far it makes money? No. Some things only cost, still they are extremely important. Just not immediately. That's why the goverment (and not yourself, what can you do at your own?) has to take matters into hand.

  • @Prowsky Education has been implemented to, yes make money. People want education to make money (illigal immigration), teachers teach because they need a salary, school administrators (from my experience) sit on their lazy asses and collect a paycheck.

You're one of those people that think the government should take responsibility for a lot of things. I say no, the government is also way too inefficient. Somebody with enough brains and willpower, will make alternative energy profitable.

  • im pretty sure the state did fund SUVs

  • They're trying to get the public used to the idea of the government being the inventor and the provider. Oh! The government should do this and that - instead of the citizens doing it.

  • Spot on!

  • What's next, the gulf oil spill Bob? I wonder if there's a video about that?

  • Use hemp biofuel.

    Problem solved!

WHEN WILL THE IDIOTS LEARN THAT NATURE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN SHELL CORPORATION

  • hey Bob, If we don't stop drilling, then this planet will eventually will spit into pieces and blow up like Planet Alderale did on Star Wars.

  • Hey bob, they've invented a Solar airplane which I saw, and if you see it in the sky, your probably going to go nuts, some one is eventually going to take the Solar airpline accross the sea like Charles Linberg on the Spirit of St Louis.

  • Dude your the best!

  • People will buy anything if it's marketed right...he's spot on there.

  • umm...America is socialist now

  • There marketable just not profitable....

  • If things like windmills or solar panels or whatever would be mass-produced on a large scale, they would be more affordable. But we don't really need them yet, so they aren't. You can already buy some personal, backyard-size little windmills that can make 100s (1000s?) of watts for a decent price. And some sports stadiums are at least partially powered by green energy. Powering cars might be a little trickier, but hey. So I'd say the technology is getting there; we just don't need it yet.

  • dam the commies

  • Bob is 10000% correct.

  • I take it this guy's ultraconservative.

  • The solution to our fuel crisis and vehicle emissions problems, like ALL other problems, can easily and overnight be solved by da gubmint. Da gubmint only has to pass legislation that requires ALL forms of transportation MUST get 27 gazillion miles per gallon, and their exhaust must consist of equal parts rainbows, mountain spring-water and polar bear food. Problem solved. Jesus, I should be president!

  • its better to study on how alternative fuel source could work, for example a car that run on Sea Water and that will solve the problem.

  • pet rock lmao

  • dont you love the children. they want to see bears roam free in Alaska to. think about the children think about the children

  • just ignore the fact that the "bear" population has gone up by a factor of 5 i suppose to.

  • Your country is not a capitalist country Bob. Not even close. A quick investigation into how your country works will make it abundantly clear to even the simplest individual that you have a "mixed" economy. Some socialism and some capitalism.

  • truee but mostly capitalism.

  • not for much longer

  • Perhaps the government can make it affordable? (Incentives.)

  • have fun when the greenland ice sheets melt and gas prices are at 8 dollars a gallon :D

  • Comment removed

  • u r so right man

  • Normally, I wouldn't say he who yells the loudest wins or is right, but when that man is yelling things that make sense and are perfectly logical, then I must digress. Keep on yellin' Bob! Maybe one day the idiots will wake up......maybe.

  • the "energy" problem is as easy as building some damn nuclear power plants, no bad emmishions, and all it is really is boiling water to power the country. Sure, there are some mild nuclear waists, but were fixing that.

  • You're an idiot. We need to take advantage of wind, solar, geothermic, and wave power. All clean, all sufficient, and all stable.

  • true, to a point. their all inefficient. wind power take a shitload of money to make it work properly. do you have any idea how much money those turbines costs, and how many we have to build in order to even come close to nuclear energy. the governments all for building nuclear plants in other countries, why not ours. probably because then they couldn't make millions of dollars. out of all the options you listed, solar would be the best, if we could maximize the amount of energy to at least 50%.

  • you missed the point entirely......its not that we dont want to take advantage of this.....its that people arent practicing what they preach,

if money was invested into this, it would happen, no one wants to take a risk in this "recession" and that is the entire reason we are in it in the first place, WHERE ARE YOUR BALLS AMERICA? WHERE ARE YOUR BALLS?

  • @cogar48 And all inordinately expensive, too. Bummer!

What he was saying in this video was that if the people that supposedly supported these forms of energy put their money where their mouth is, it would take off. They clearly haven't done that, which is why we aren't seeing these forms of energy implemented. Its just too expensive because there is no backing whatsoever.

I think we should branch out to other sources of energy as well, but it isn't getting anywhere. Oil is all we have right now.

  • when you said "the american people will buy anything if it's marketed right" I had to burst out in laughter cuz of how sadly true that is.

  • Most alternative gathering for energy like solar is UN-AFORDABLE to the average person, because the dems keep raising our FEES/taxes for all their other spending of our taxdollars. I would like a small windmill, but they cost more than I can afford.

  • where im from, theres a company thats turning human shit into fuel.

    no joke

  • Actually, wind and solar energy are economically viable, and not more expensive than oil. The problem is that oil has a hidden government subsidy. If you add up all the money the U.S. spends defending the Persian Gulf to keep Saudi Arabia open, and all the money spent to liberate Kuwait etc., the price of oil ain't 50$/barrel. It's more like $200. Remove that hidden subsidy, and alternatives are pretty attractive. Even T.Boone Pickens thinks so, these days.

  • The government already came up with a non fossil fuel alternative energy. IT'S CALLED BLOOD. HUMAN BLOOD. Where does it come from? THE TAXPAYERS!!!!

  • I like that comment!!!

  • Yea if you believe oil is a fossil fuel then how smart are you we would of ran out years ago. If what liberals say is right then the middle east should be out of oil by now,I don't want to hear it tectonic plats make oil not bones. Name one country that ever ran completely out of oil lol. Green economy just another way so the Demos can make issue with fear tactics and another way to control our lives once again. LOL

  • I'm a Republican. Oil companies own stock in the car companies. MY uncle who went to Harvard back in the 70's four of his friends made a car engine that would go 70 miles to a gallon. You know what they tried to sell it all every auto maker and could not sell it.

  • GOV and people that are in power are like VIRUSES injected to a body of this country. Theirs job is to make society dumb whats lead to creating 300 million INDIVIDUALS. That's why we are unable to SOLVE ANY MAJOR PROBLEM.

  • maybe not, but it wouldn't hurt to have them push a few stubburn companies into considering going more green. It's time for the govt to stop sucking the oil industries tit and make them to a GREEN 360.

  • you idiots and your "drill, baby, drill" if you look at the facts youll see that this country uses 25% of the worlds oil that is around, in our territory we only have 3% so drilling wont really do much.

  • So if that 3% were raised to any higher number, you're trying to say it wouldn't bring prices down? Especially when we don't have to ship it halfway across the planet on a tanker? What, are you fuckin slower than molasses or something?

  • if you had done any reaseach of any kind you would know that the US has an abundance of oil, the only reason its price was raised (and is now lowering) is because investors are terrified of it being over used and thats why its so priced high. If you overprice people will conserve, thats the idea of it. Also if people start drilling more who says there will be any development in alternatives if we just keep drilling as our only resort?

  • You simpletons just don't get it, do you? There is NO MARKET for alternative energy! Until it becomes a viable and realistic method to supply energy, then we HAVE to use what actually works.

There's no reason we can't do both, but to not drill because were focused on alternative energy? That's like expecting the cost of your return trip from Las Vegas to be covered by money you haven't won yet.

  • And if you give me this line again that greater supply wouldn't equate to smaller prices, then I'll have to be dumbfounded as to how you're smart enough to be typing to me in the first place.

  • Lets see drill and get all the oil out now and do with out later at higher prices and forced new energy soluitions at even higher prices. OR, We cut back on the use of oil now makeing it last longer and use other types of energy sources now as it will become part of our lives as time goes and will be easier to do with out the oil when it runs out or so low it will not be cost effective to continue to use it. Bleed the grandchildren dry right. Or teach them better now.

  • You cant just "cut back" on oil. Theres a reason its in demand in the first place. Not utilizing it? That would be like getting 2 for 1 discounts on groceries and letting the "free" half of your food rot.

That being said, we can still pursue alternative energy, but we don't have to cripple oil production on purpose just because were eventually not going to use it. The free market will be plenty motivated to develop alternative solutions when the time is right, you cant force the economy's hand.

  • Maaybee, but if we cut back and start using the alt energy sources it would allow third world counrties to gain with out us looseing ground and we can then offer them the alt sources and the oil can be reduced in a positive manner. And we will still have oil in reserve for a lot longer.

  • Talk about screaming! Girl, you got moxy!

  • Will you be my neighbor, Bob?

  • Decaf

  • Dude, you're the voice in my head.

  • We don't have the technology for alternative resources. People who say "Oh well we won't hit oil for over 10 years". That's why we have to start drilling now! If we were to start drilling now, in 10 years, we'd have our oil THEN we can start looking for alternative sources!

  • i love bob (H) tee hee (K) marry me

  • for the very first time bob i dont agree with you. the goverment has everything to do with encourageing and/profiteing from oil. war, taxes, the money they send to iraq after we bombed them all tie into oil, it would be in all our best intrests if funding went more into alternative fuel sources instead of wasteing money on bombs and giving billons of dollars to iraq only to get a fuel that will run out in less than 20 yrs

  • Weapons and arms for defense are THE primary responsibility of the government, or simply put, to provide for the common defense of the nation at large. That does not include energy sources. Your argument still just does not wash.

  • The goverment invented nuclear power.

    The goverment invented the internet.

Oil gets tax breaks but alternative energy is getting them cut

Solar panels are coming down in price. If the governments of the world gave tax breaks on them it would allow them to be produced on a much greater scale. They just came up with solar panels that can be printed like paper.

Free markets obviously dont work with out a jump start. Hows your free market health insurance cost?

  • good point

  • Free markets don't work without a jumpstart? What? It starts with funding from private investors and others who simply have the desire to make money and enrich themselves and better their world. Where do you think anything comes from? The gov't is not the keeper of all money, wealth does not flow from gov't, it flows TO gov't and when it does in any excessive amount it takes away from free enterprise and innovation. This is proven by history, it's not some abstract theory. lol.

  • If the solar panels were viable, they'd be selling them down at Home Depot and Kmart. People would buy themselves solar panels instead of SHINGLES! Thanks for the new perspective on alternative energy, man!

  • 1- i hate there videos, and

2- Research the topic before you fucking sream about it. Those companies exist, but they cost a fucking fortune to use. why back them. and when the say ALTERNATIVE, they dont mean that kind of power, idiot.

  • Capitalism 101...good job...lots of great points. Private sector will take care of the energy crisis if the government would get out of the way. The entrepreneurial spirit of men is one of the main reasons for this countries success......Also Ive notice anyone who disagrees with this man does not make a "counter argument". The just call him names.

INTERNET FACT NUMBER ONE....IF YOU CAN'T OUT DEBATE SOMEONE CALL HIM A NAME...I call it the kindergarden mentality

  • your vids are awesome but i have to feel sorry for your neighbors

    :|

  • What an ignorant man.

  • Your videos are pure genious, although slightly annoying.

  • @Jemlink: It's "genius", genius. lol

  • Dude you are the most annoying homo I've ever seen. Get a life.

  • amen bob, p.s. fuck obama and democraps

  • LMFAO "democraps" is the best word I've ever seen!

  • lol that's what they are and always will be democraps lmao

  • amen

  • actually has a point on this one, but he is still gay and annoying, so who cares what he has to say.

  • At least he's not denying we need to change, like the rest of the Republicans have been doing their whole lives. We're at least 30 years behind where we need to be, thanks to 'conservatives'

Well I spoke too fast.. I see he does want to solve everything by drilling in what's left of our wildlands. I bet he's into mountaintop removal too.

  • Even in capitalist societies, government plays a helping hand giving private industries a boost, especially in the development of new technology. A ton of this has come out of the Pentagon superstructure.

Sometimes unregulated and unsubsidized markets will not develop alternatives quickly enough - the government has to hasten the process through a system of taxes and subsidies.

  • WOW.

  • Hahahaha- good point!

  • SHUT EH FUCK UP YA IDIOT MN!

    shit doon

    shut up

n dnt go back on youtube againya faggot

  • This guy needs to chill out!

  • love this one!!! hahahaha

  • Posting a text comment

  • on Ewok's #2 - saying alternative energy is not a money making idea is like saying motor vehicles, computers, the airplane, the engine, electricity, television, the radio, and I can go on aren't money making ideas. It's exactly like what bob says, if there was an alternative source of energy to replace oil that was abundant, efficient, with low cost and upkeep, of course there would be companies promoting it because it would net them a fortune.

  • on Ewok's #3 - I suggest going to Europe to see the makes and models of the motor vehicles there because those are much more efficient however they don't have a market in the US because no American would be caught dead in a vehicle that looked that stupid. I mean seriously, do you even see the world outside your TV box? Also you ignore hybrid cars have been in production for a while now and even more vehicles are being made hybrid - why? - because they are a money making idea!!!

  • on Ewok's #4 - yeah and government has been stepping in and doing their part in trying to lower gas prices right? It's not the government's job to pursue and create inventions and new marketable ideas. Where in the US Constitution does it say that? The job of our government is to provide a safe environment with a framework of rules and regulations that basically tell people/businesses/corporations what they can and cannot do but they are failing at that in trying to dictate business themselves.

  • Wow horrible delivery. The reason the Gov't is needed is because of a little thing called EROEI. A solar panel is basicly a battery that will give a little more energy (if you shine the sun on it) than it took to make it. Energy return on energy invested (EROEI) Wind is the same. The new tech is not here yet and the Gov't is the only entity with the capitol to find it if it exists. Your videos are ALL Fox News talking points. Don't you think it might be better to actually think for yourself.

  • Just curious itstakentoo, how is it that basically your only argument against a conservative/moderate/independent/non-liberal thinker is well - sounds like Fox News talking points to me? I find it quite amusing that that little statement always crops up when liberals try to debunk someone. You'll probably say this post is a Fox News talking point. Here's one for you - Fox News talking point!!! - you drink too much coolaid provided by the mainstream media. LOL

  • My comments on EROEI are my argument and efficiently debunk his rant. Pointing out he can't seem to think for himself is just icing on the cake. I could understand your comment if I had only written the last two sentences. Are you just dumb or were you hoping I would not notice? I think it is the former seeing how you believe the corporate owned mainstream media is liberal. Corporations are conservative. How many things do you own that operate outside of your belief system. Think 1st next time.

  • How does it debunk his rant. Nothing you typed has any kind of historical or factual evidence. You really think solar power and wind power is going to replace oil? What kind of logic do you have itstakentoo? I mean you seriously need not to just think but the proverbal "get a friggen clue". If no one in the world has discovered a possible replacement for oil in the past 50 years, then it's not going to pop out of your proverbial "ass" like you seem to believe.

  • I mean what you have typed in 2 posts is absolute nonsense not worthy of debunking. For shits and giggles I'll do it anyways for you. The "Pointing out he can't seem to think for himself" is just what I said before, this is the only counterargument that you have. Corporations are conservative? Corporate owned mainstream media is liberal? Why are we even questioning the validity of these statements? Of course the "mainstream media" is liberal.

  • Prove to me where it isn't and I'll just debunk what you type in and just prove it with cold hard facts and examples of how the "mainstream media" has reported the news. I won't even have to explain where the liberalism is. I'll just point out the slanted news they feed to you itstakentoo.

  • You typed earlier: "Are you just dumb or were you hoping I would not notice?"

Honestly, I knew you were stupid judging by your first post that made absolutely no logical sense at all then resorting to the Fox News bubble argument you liberals always retort with. You probably don't even realize that my first post was just simply making fun of the hypocrisy and the fallacy you believe in.

  • "I think it is the former seeing how you believe the corporate owned mainstream media is liberal. Corporations are conservative. How many things do you own that operate outside of your belief system."

    See above response.

  • I love this guy!!!!

  • A Recession - and possibly a depression; high unemployment - 500,000 jobs lost this year already; a mortgage crisis; soon-to-be $5 per gallon gas; an unnecessary war; a budget deficit; $9 + Trillion National debt.

Why is it the same people who were bitching about the Democrats in 2000 are the same ones bitching now, except they will not talk about the performance of the Republicans, and instead want to talk about the "danger" of electing Obama?

Can Obama do worse than Bush and Cheney?

  • Hey Bob,

Clinton & Gore gave us the following from 1993 -2000:

22 Million New Jobs; a shrinking poor population; Peace; a Balanced budget; a Budget surplus - potential $5.4 Trillion; an

    ascending middle class.

Bush & Chenney took the above and gave us the following from 2001 - 2008:

  • Maybe the oil companies will make more money drilling in this country than they will selling windmill kits.

  • Military Chief: US Doesn't Have Enough Troops To Send To Afghanistan.

Hope some of you patriots sign up soon.

  • Hey Suckers,

I hope you saw this on the news...

..Rush Limbaugh signs huge new radio deal: Talk hosts reportedly claims nine-figure signing bonus, $38 million salary..

Unlike most of you he doesn't have to pay $5.00 for gas on his way to work - he works from his home. Please note he isn't an elite guy, but just an ordinary fella like most of you.

Keep listening to him, maybe someday you will be just like him.

  • whats next ill tell you whats next ..who post videos of themselves yelling to a camera?? you got 5 pages of videos with you screaming ..get a life man theres a lot of things that are not at their best right now thats very very obvious i agree..but why would you post 5 pages of you yelling.. wow

  • ahahha beanie babies....

  • This guy is right, but he forgets that those "private companies" also known as corporations have the government in thier pockets. The government is the corporation! However we allow it to be like that, so it is our fault in a way.

  • Speak the truth Bob.

  • What's next you fucking rube, US hit peak oil in 1970's. World hit peak probaly in 05. Your right the alternatives are a pipe dream, they don't have the energ density of oil and won't work for a variety of reasons. You stubborn MotherF@@cker if the we had a Manhattan or moon landing level energy program years ago we wouldn't be fucked now. And yes they are drill here now, but it's not going to do any good you f@@king nimrod.

  • Revren'!

  • Bob makes good points. The thing that gets me is corruption where big companies can kill new ideas. Everyone, go rent "who killed the electric car". It is a real documentary about the GM built 100% electric cars that were leased to consumers for two years in the mid 90's. When the lease was up they took EVERY car away from the consumers, no option to buy them, and crushed all but one of them to make them disappear! No one stepped in to help these consumers keep these cars on the road!CORRUPTION!

  • BTW Sir of much of over-caffeination, John McCain flip-flopped on offshore drilling so much we don't know what that Wal-Mart greeter actually stands for.

  • Go Bob!!!!1

  • your a loud obnoxious asshole that deserves to have the shit beat out of you

  • But at least he's correct

  • deenoo888 loves big cock....the sold water in plastic bottles to these dumb bastards....they will sell wind and sun in about 20 years....and you my smart ...dumb friend will be on the out....

  • Dip Shit

What a twat comment? Where are all the arseholes why aren't they all pushing all the FREE sources of energy. DICK HEAD They can't sell the sunshine or the wind. They can't sell HHO.

There's a shit load of corporate money to be lost selling free Energy. Yep! you can sell a solar panel but who fills it up at $2 a litre. and bleeds your income for the rest of your natural.

Think about the shit you spout. Sell a car that burns oil = 1 Sale plus life time of oil sales. Sell Panel Duh!!

  • Awesome Bob. Just letting you know, these videos are awesome, but are rarely getting watched by anyone but close minded, brainwashed liberals that eat, breath and sleep "SAVE THE FUCKING PLANET". It's awesome what you're doing, but, as you can probably tell by your comments, these rarely hit home with your generic youtube lurker.

  • Its called "faith" Bob, democrat party nominated Obama as god. Boy are we going to look like idiots when our cars dont start.

  • I have many thoughts on this issue. First, nobody gets a wind mill next to their house unless they get paid. Second, the truth is that corporations get massive hand outs and tax breaks from our government. Our government gives money to the corporations that run our major sources of energy... so why not alternative sources? Also there actually are many companies that are investing in alternative sources right now and both Presidential candidates only mention it because it sounds good to us.

  • And don't ever tell anyone "Shut up."

  • Did private companies invent the atom bomb?

    And why are you yelling?

  • This guy is an idiot.

  • Tell the FBI to release Nicola Tesla's energy papers then.

  • Oh yeah! Remember Dick Cheney's meetings with the energy industry right around the first inauguration? Did we ever get those notes?

  • The government came up with the internet dipshit. Oh wait we should trash it because they shouldn't be coming up with innovations that better our country. Also they came up with the Highway system. Oh no we should scrap that and start with private run roads. $700 a year charge to use a privte freeway running east and west. $700 a year to use a competitor's runing north and south. It's a national security issue we find renewable energy. Our countrie's welfare and future depends on it.

  • Hm, we see coal becoming a source of energy, but, tell me, will coal, power an automobile?

  • Have you ever heard of coal to liquid technology? Turning coal into diesel, you dipshit. How about the original steam cars? They had a boiler. See this is what Bob is talking about, the average American is ignorant to these things and they as well as the average politician (the majority) don't have a fucking clue and just want to bitch about green shit but do NOTHING, the fucking governor of Alaska is pleading with the pussy harry reed to drill in Alaska! C'mon people, lets save our country!

  • Your shit is weak

  • Dude go beat off or something! LOL!

  • This guy is the fucking hammer. He nails it.

  • I know for a fact that several designs for water pwoered cars have came out in the past and the oil companies bought them up.....

Thats why the government needs to fund alternative energies because the oil companies buy up anyone that tries to do it in the private sector...

whats next whats next whats next.... going back to school.... would be a good idea for you.

  • but until thats possible we need a energy source. we cant power our cars on imaginary fuel. the government wouldn't fund something unless them and everybody else thinks it is a reliable investment.

  • 'energy security' is an investment they can't afford not to fund as oil is a limited reserve....

The facts are that there is no shortage of supply of oil..... it the oil companies that are reporting record profits that are causing this.... because of the instibility of the middle east they have gained a monopoly over "safe" oil reserves can can ask whatever price they want.

  • shut the fuck up for christ sake, and you don't see commercials cause the people are poor at the moment.

  • Now CERN in Switzerland wants to create a black hole because of theroy by Stephen Hawking that it will evaporate and leave behind a infinite source of energy.

We're doomed to extinction because of a group of crackpot scientists.

However, we don't have the energy to actually create a black hole.

  • We dont have the knowledge either, we dont even know what a black hole really is moron.

  • Bob i don't think you've been paying attention the last 8 years. Republicans have run this country into the ground. Its time for a change, see if a democrate president can do any better. Right wing nut jobs have people like you so brainwashed you can't see straight. right now i'm going for a democrate president, because republicans have failed so badly, whos knows if Obama does'nt do good when he gets elected maybe i'll be goin for a repulican president after him.

  • Kill for Oil

  • I'm seeing a bumper sticker?

  • Do you really think the corporations are going to give up their cash cow and invest it into alternative energy. If you can make millions on one technology why bother investing in something else? These corporations don't care about this country they only care about their profits. They will not pursue alternative energy until the other energy has been totally used up and sold first.

  • HT, the bushit administration has ordered a moratorium on solar generating plant development to complete two years worth of "environmental impact studies"..

..but is also demanding that increased drilling be rushed through (even though we ALL know that drilling wouldn't produce new gas for 10 years and won't effect the price).

  • i see where you are going with this but if we drilled in alaska and we start setting up now it would take ten years to start actually getting oil and then it would only lower gas prices for 1 dollar for about a year and thenthe price of gas would go right back up to what it is now i dont think that is worth destroying one of the greastest most untouched states in america i support many of your ideas but definitaely not this on

  • True. Not to mention that we import our oil from 41 different countries (our biggest supply comes from Canada). We do it this way in order to balance global economic interdependence. So not only is drilling in Alaska not worth our time, it could upset the global market in a major way (e.g. we stop importing their oil and they stop importing our Coca-Cola).

  • Wow he makes a lot of sense...wait no he doesnt. Brazil went from a 90% reliance on imported oil in 1975 to over 90% self-dependence on their homegrown ethanol.

If the government was looking out for our interests, they would have provided incentives for companies who could offer alternative fuels, and removed the tax breaks for oil companies to level the playing field.

Instead they catered to big oil companies because of the revenue they could get from sales tax <-- a regressive tax.

  • The goverment provides grants for new technology, so in truth, they do create new technology. You're wrong and you sound like a screaming idiot.
