@mrbobbyjonny Check the "Dealers" section of our web site and you can find online or traditional retailers that serve where you are from. Or you can buy directly from us.
@sethutkc350 That is the type of cable you need. It is also explained on a slip included with iRig and it also has visual diagrams. If you have further trouble you can contact Tech Support from our web site. Thanks!
@dwelitz Make sure the tuner isn't engaged and that the 1st track in the recorder is armed. Also, contact Tech Support if you still have issues. Thanks!
amplitube irig don't recognize my guitar. In setup appears input:none.I checked the cable of my guitar ,it's ok.But i can hear the demo songs.I'm using Iphone 3gs,irig,amplitube free version.
@Batutafilmes There can be many things going on. Technical Support is available to contact via our web site, and they would be the best to take care of your issue to get you running.
@dptsh89 No, it would feed back. There should have been a slip with recommended cabling (with pictures) included with your iRig. You need 1/8" stereo to 1/4" DUAL mono.
@IkMultimedia i bought the iRig today but i conected to the the guitar my iphone and speakers but no sound from guitar, but i can hear the demos songs play could it be my amplifier cable or im doing something wrong?
@kittennveyron Make sure the first track is armed in the Recorder section. If that is not the issue you can contact technical support and they will get you sorted
@thegreatcerebral probably but not with as good results since iRig has circuitry to do things like impedance adapting where the Griffin looks like it is just a cable.
@winnabego Because it probably wouldn't sound good due to guitars and basses and such requiring circuitry to do things like impedance matching (the same reason audio interfaces for your computer have "HI-Z" or "Instrument" inputs that do this sort of thing).
i want to plug in mines into my surround sound receiver using regular red and white colored cables and the output stereo will i get feedback or something
I've got everything set up correctly, but the guitar while going through the amp is not getting effected by the iRig at all, changing presets proves it's not doing anything... any ideas?
@ulfjanson Arm the first track in the recorder. Make sure insert FX are enabled on that track. Barring that, if these suggestions don't work please open a support ticket as YouTube comments are not a good medium for it. Thanks!
@realjuvelive just what it shows... plug your guitar into iRig, then iRig into your iPhone, fire up the AmpliTube app on your phone and play through the guitar gear. Sounds quite nice.
I have the ipod touch 4th Gen, I plugged my guitar using a mono guitar cable into the irig port, then plugged the irig into the ipod. I then plugged my headphones into the headphone port of the irig. I then strumed my guitar but there was no sound output from the headphones. Is it because I have a faulty irig cable? I bought all the equipment as new.
@kelinghan make sure the track is armed in the recorder and not muted. Try the iRig FAQ if that isn't it and also you can contact support and they will get you all sorted out.

@HighVoltage7177 You need to contact support. They will get you sorted out. Also, please check the FAQ at our site, most problems have been solved that way as we have every unit tested (not just spot checking some like other manufacturers do) so we've had very low rate of actual defective units. You could be playing with it, satisfied SOON if you get with our support department. Thanks.
@link1123333 With newer MacBooks / MacBook Pros you can use the combination input/output jack and record like an interface. if you do this on other types of machines, results will vary as you'll still need to use the onboard audio from the computer as your audio interface (though this will do the impedance matching which is very helpful)
Can't wait...I'm buying it tomorrow :) My musician buddy Balasz is going to love it
