@stalkingalizee the f-22's minimum turn rate is about 23 seconds. The j 20 here is doing a figure eight, not a minimum radius turn. so 26 seconds is reasonable.

@theaviribidityofwtr F-22 can do it in 18s. It would take the J-20 28s to complete that turn. Legacy fighters can do it in 20s. J-20 is no dogfighter, that much is fact.

@stalkingalizee still 21 seconds... and that's at an airshow where the gas tank and weapons bays are mostly empty. the j 20 was doing testflights so how do we know the amount of fuel it was carrying when it did that turn? stop making all these assumptions from just one video.

@theaviribidityofwtr You can't count, it was 18s. Both planes were clean and it is clear J-20 doesn't compare to even 4th gen aircraft maneuverability.  It isn't a fighter but a penetration bomber.
