When i opened them.. there in my hands was Toe jam and earl the game :D... I got so excited..untill he told me he had rented it from a local gameshop and i only had 24 hours with it :'(

It's interesting how back in the Genesis days, renting this game as the last option in a videoclub made me get along with it, discover it and enjoy it a lot!

This game gave me chronic fears of sand, mailboxes, ice cream trucks, men with lawnmowers, sharks, nerd herds, moles, and that one present that kills you instantly without you being able to do anything about it (save for the glitch that was probably unknown at the time) but this game is one of my favourite games of all time. The soundtrack doesn't get old, the gameplay never gets stale, and it's probably the greatest co-op game of the past millenium.

If only SEGA would make more like this. <3

Toejam & Earl had cool Music i liked it but the Toejam & Earl 2 was even better. I Hate what they did to tis series [Toejam & Earl 3] sega sure ruined the Game hopefully someday they will make a better sequel it is kinda sad that it ended that way.

Remember, this game only got four 7 out of 10 ratings on EGM. Word of mouth has made this game a classic. I also thought the reviews for TJ&E III to be very unfair. Plus you have the quasi racism of Cliffy B saying this series was just a complete misfire made by a bunch of white people on a corporate board, ie Sega wasn't keeping it real (nothing could be further from the truth). Everyone is disappointed by the sequel just because it's a side scroller. I love both immensely. The sequel is my favorite Genesis game, period. I just bought it and a Genesis on eBay. So good to have one again.
