  • Amazing Marlon-esque acting

  • FUCK ALL, I LOVED THE GOOD QUINN

  • That face he makes at the end, holy shit that's scary. It's facial expressions and body language like that, that makes an actor like Terry pure awesome.

  • i love how they almost seperate the two modes of thought in light and dark when he leans forward into the light, when i was watching that i was just spellbound at every word he was saying, WHO IS THIS GUY ? listening to every word he was saying just trying to understand more of who the guy was. lost was a work of art

  • Also all throughout lost the monster was shown as being a judge who even helped people. (it was sawyers boar and kates horse), but mib was purely evil. Theres another reason why mib wasnt only the monster.

  • @MichaelMyers87 Sawyer's boar was just a boar (reference 'Walkabout'), and Kate's horse was just a horse (reference 'Follow the Leader'). Neither case was the monster; the monster cannot take the shape of animals.

  • that died on the island. Basically as far as we've seen the island CANNOT bring people back to life. And also when mib as a kid saw his MOTHER WHO HE HAD NEVER SEEN BEFORE, who in the fuck do you think was posing as his mother? He wasnt just hullucinating. The monster was posing as his mother. Before mib got thrown down into the heart of the island. Hmm..... Never thought of that did you?

  • @MichaelMyers87 Then who was posing as young Jacob to MIB, and Michael and Richard's wife to Hurley in the last season? I think there are actual ghosts that aren't MIB.

  • @braksator Yes thats true, there were.

  • Thats where the water drained when it went down the hole when ben summoned the monster in season 4. The heart of the island is where the monster actualy is/was. Mib coudnt even go down there, just like i stated. Either mib abandoned mib because he failed his ultimate purpose, or the monster itself was actually the evil under the cork that wanted to get out to the rest of the world and abandoned mib after it used mib. Kinda like how mib used ben. Also the monster can take the form of people

  • every time I hear smokey bad mouthing MY favorite character, Locke, I feel like punching smokey in the face and saying "Don't you dear talk about John that way. John Locke was a much better man then you will ever become, He was a great man who showed me the truth about this island so don't you dear talk about him like that"

  • I remember how haunting this scene was when I first saw it. To hear Locke get ridiculed so badly from out of his own mouth was just creepy.

Great acting, great writing, why I loved Lost.

  • Monster is what gaurded the gate to hell. That cork. MIB COUDNT EVEN GO DOWN THERE. He failed his task of defending the heart of the island so the demon from hell meant to protect the cork to hell abandoned man in black for being a fool and trying to leave the island. Thats why when desond messed with the cork the monster stopped using its power on man in blacks behalf.

  • man in black was a faggot for belittleing locke. mib wasnt even the monster. He could just call on its power when he needed to. The mib was the monsters host in this episode. Maybe the monster needed a hot or it was forced to accept mib as its matser. Either way the monster was around LLOONNGG BEFORE pussy assed man in black was. And was around long after gay man in black died.

  • @MichaelMyers87 I agree about belittling Locke, but the MiB was definitely the Smoke Monster. They were one in the same. The MiB has been on the Island since 42 A.D., and he became the Smoke Monster when Jacob threw him into the Light (however the heck that happens).

  • @ccsdavis1 The monster was already around, the its strongly hinted at that the mibs mother called on it or was a host of it when she destroyed mibs village. Even the producers have stated that there was no way that their mother could have destroyed all those armed men or the well like that, by herself or "in human form". Also theres the hyrogliphics of the monster being worshiped by ancient egyptians long before mib was born. Also, theres the cerberus vents leading from the heart of the island.

  • @ccsdavis1 Also if mib was the only monster that ever was and was actually it and the monster coudnt even go down into the heart of the island which is where it came from in the 1st place, then explain why in the hell Jack and Hurley and desmond all didnt become smoke monsters? Well?

  • @MichaelMyers87 In this same episode, Locke says, "I'm sorry you had to see me like that." MiB was the Smoke Monster. That's not a theory, that's a fact. I wish I could tell you how the MiB turned into the Smoke Monster when he was thrown into the light, but I can't. That was never explained. That's one of the issues I have with this season. Desmond could unplug the light because he had an immunity to high electromagnetism. Hurley never went into the waterfall.

  • i really wanted flocke to leave the island that would have been great

  • "I want to go home"

It made you think there was so much more going on in the mythology. Unfortunately there wasn't, Across the Sea was so disappointing.

  • @Lunis Agreed. I remember everybody wondering where "Home" was. Turns out, we'll never know.

  • @ccsdavis1 Home is the real world. Did you not get that or something?

  • @Rude666 If we really want to talk about 'Lost,' then I'll have to say that the Island is just as real as the outside world, time difference and everything. Besides, when you or I say "Home," we mean a city, or state, or even a country; we don't mean Planet Earth. The MiB saying "Home" felt so specific, I was disappointed when we realized he didn't know exactly WHERE he wanted to end up. He should've just said, "I want to get off this island." That would've made more sense.

  • @ccsdavis1 yeah, but home for MIB was what was across the sea/off the island, plus it sounds more creepy.

And besides, you get the meaning anyway.

  • Locke has man tits

  • My fave scene after the Walkabout ending. Amazing that it's the man who led to John's death that pays a twisted respect to him, noting that "there was something admirable about him". Gives Flocke humanity.

  • MIB summed up Locke's character perfectly. Locke was indecisive, crazy and unpredictable....he wasn't a heroic character. Realistically, I would follow Jack more than Locke. BUT Locke was the first one who immediately got the big picture - The Island is special. That was Locke's specialness, not coz he can walk again but he was right about the Island the moment he arrived there.

  • It's amazing how, despite O'Quinn looking the same and sounding the same, you can completely tell he is playing two seperate characters..

  • I wonder how lost will be remembered. I don't know. maybe...probably quite shitty. but I really enjoyed going along with this series. lost brought a new dynamic of story telling into place, at 2003, right where the accumulation of storytelling stopped at matrix and anthony hopkins, and some genius, as always, came along the idea; it's really about the script and putting new appreciation for storytelling into place. Lets get the writing going.. It always has been about an honest approach to refle

  • He actually looks frightening at 2:33..

  • I want.. to go....HHHHHHOMMMME.

  • 1:32 I love when he do that move with his hand when he says "a victim" !

  • MIB obviously realizes how crappy Johns life was before the crash on the real world. What a retard for wanting to go the real world himself

  • @THEprojectMIKE Yeah, I've been living here for a long time and it sucks. I've been wanting to go the The Island for years now. The ending of Lost should have been the MIB trapped out here for eternity, so he could realize the mistake he made!

  • @Wombaggins Somehow i feel sorry for the mib. His childhood dream of "going home" never came true, he was a victim himself. As much as Jacob was..Very sad story actually.. Btw: i would choose the island too :)

  • @greken145 I agree with you. I don't know what exactly happened to him, but I know what it's like losing all faith in human decency- expecting the worst out of everyone and never being surprised. When you get to that point, there is often only one shred of hope you cling to as a sort of salvation, and you'll do anything to get there. I know what that is like and I feel that desperation; so I know, in many ways, what the MIB is feeling... and it is tragic.

  • @Wombaggins another broken heart.. i guess u have thought at least once: Come on Jaccob, take me to your magic island :)

  • its interesting to to watch every episode in order and than watch every episode all over again

  • I'll miss Lost :(

  • @Drix153 We all will, but we have eachother and the DVD's to help us. So don't be so quick to pull the trigger.

  • @UrijahFaberbeast *slowly lowers gun to side*

    You're totally right!

  • @Drix153 I'm so glad *pad on back*. Hopefully Damon and Carlton will find it in themselves to somehow continue Lost, even though they said no chance in hell. Until they realize the show isn't done with them, we have plenty to talk about. Soooo..... What was your favorite and least favorite season?

  • @UrijahFaberbeast my favourite is the first with its very unique magic, i dunno how to describe how it felt...the rest seaons have all different great parts

  • @UrijahFaberbeast My favourite is Across the Sea

in that episode we see the story of two important characters:

Jacon and The Man in Black

  • @Drix153 omg lol

  • iam not a what ben am our you the monster

  • Terry O'Quinn and Michael Emerson are two of the finest actors that i've ever seen in TV.

  • It's pretty pathetic when someone says "he was very confused when you killed him" and then they have to clarify who they're talking about to the killer. lol jk

  • "Let's not resort to name calling"

My favorite line of the entire series.

  • after season 3 i just stopped watching ... it dragged on foreeever, and some people say that the series finale was just stupid because it didn't explain nothin

  • @justafidemyself May I ask what shows you prefer over Lost?

  • @UrijahFaberbeast hmmm let's see, Glee, 30 rock, Desperate Housewives, Bones, Prison Break, The Office, The Simpsons, the list is like ENDLESS

  • @justafidemyself I feel insulted you'd put those shows over Lost. I spend about 6 hours watching, thinking, talking, reading about Lost a day and you're going to say glee, such a terrible show, is better than the one and only, probably never going to happen again, LOST!

  • @UrijahFaberbeast Glee is amazing show xd they have WAAAAAAAAAAY better ratings than lost ? duh ? , they sold SOOOOOOOOOO many soundtracks , and the merchandise is endless, and the show has one of the best ratings ever for a complete season ;p

  • @justafidemyself Yeah and guess what, if you took out all the plotlines and acting (which isn't good) in glee, and just had singing, it would double in ratings. Of course people don't want to watch a show which will make them have to think 3 seasons prior, or maybe go online and look something up. Arrested Development was canceled after it's second season, got another chance, and then was immediately canceled at three. Tells you something about ratings.

  • @UrijahFaberbeast yeah and guess what, people want to watch televesion to get relaxed, not to get annoyed by a stupid bot like lost that seems to drag on FOREVER , i'm glad it's finnalt over with lost ... it didn't deserve to go beyond a second season, wich was so messed up bad

  • Comment removed

  • @justafidemyself And that's fine with me if people want to watch a show to be relaxed, but what we're talking about is the better show and it's obvious people would rather watch shows that take less thought, so let's not get into ratings. Angie B. will tell you at 3:35 on youtube/Lost - Fan Farewell Transmissions even Grant N.'s got it at :59.... yes, from watching Lost I might have learned a thing or two...... how rewarding.

  • @UrijahFaberbeast I recenylt watched all 6 seasons in a row with almost no break and i take my words back. Lost is one of the best shows ever made, the story is amazing, the writing is amazing, the acting is so good that it feels like real, but the only problem i still have from all this is that the last seasons leaves so many questions while they had so many time to figure out a plot to awnser them in the last season; Other than that, i take my words back about Lost. I'm sad that there is no 7.

  • @justafidemyself Are you joking around or being serious?

  • @UrijahFaberbeast i'm being serious, im kinda feeling homesick after watching all seasons knowing that there will be no 7th season =/ I wil def be the one who will be the complete collection when it comes out this month. Lost is an amazing show, i stopped watching afterr the second but i was so wrong then, each season was better and better , but i don't realy get the last episode , so the brother of Jacob fell in that well, so how did he change in the black smoke thingy? And is jack realy dead?

  • @justafidemyself Well, I also feel sick without Lost. That's why I watch it everyday. It was quite the journey, and not just the show, but the community surrounding the show and the interaction Damon and Carlton had with their fans. That is why I get so offended when people put down the show so much and feel the need to retort. It really has become part of me. If you need more info on things just look it up on lostpedia.

  • the man in black is right becase he dont tell me what i cant do

  • Oh shit, Flocke's face at the very end is so scary !!!

  • Your the monster

Lets not resort to name calling. LOL epic

  • Hey, all this is Jacob's fault, he threw his own flesh and blood down the magical tunnel that dealt with life death and rebirth, turning the guy's soul into the black smoke and in the process creating this being of pure evil and destructive rage whose apparently infused with the power of death, and now has caused the death of potentially thousands of people over the millennia in looking for his replacement for the day he knows that his twin will eventually kill him, Jacob's the villain.

  • wat episode was that?

  • @Bunchastuff1 Across the Sea 6 15

  • @avernikas lol

  • @avernikas True but jacob is not the villian, he is righteous.

  • @1080portal So was David until he slept with Bathsheba then had her husband killed to cover up his error. though Jacob didn't cover up his error, he continually brought people to the Island to play his and Smokey's game and in the end they got killed because he shouldn't have to tell them what to do, when Smokey had no such allusions and showed them exactly what he wanted. Jacob isn't benevolent, he isn't a hero,he isn't righteous nor is he altruistic, he's almost malevolent, like smokey.

  • Comment removed

  • @1080portal True enough, yet, Smokey always killed them, or had them killed. If you brought me to the Island to have a second chance at life, at least have the decency to tell me so, or at best, hint me in the right direction. But I'm supposed to assume that I was brought here for a reason, and though that reason is vague, I must remain altogether altruistic, even if it kills me.

  • @avernikas I see your point but john locke already stated that their deaths were "a sacrifce the island demanded" john locke believed in a reason why they were there and in the end so did jack, even though it ended up killing, his death was for the greater good. Ab eterno conversation between jacob and richard already told us why he didn't give directional hints. Why should he step in?

  • @avernikas What jacob did was not an error, he saved the island because he was able to let go, do the right thing and sacrifice himself, smokey wasn't. That's why when jacob and smokey was playing the game, smokey did a move that jacob said he wasn't allowed to do. Jacob had the moral high ground and he brought people to the island to so that they could heal themselves. If you compare charlie's life before the island, he was a cocaine addict but after the island he found love and died a hero.

  • his scars gone..??

  • 2:33!

  • Locke will be vindicated by the end of the series

  • Comment removed

  • @lukeroddis haha thats one of the things that stroke me yea

  • more like "im not a what, im a huge ass smoke thing thats gonna rape u all!"

    haha

  • creepy gaze he got...

  • Terry O´Quinn performance this season is remarkable!

    So evil!

  • Such poetic justice. Ben manipulates and kills Locke, and then MiB, in Locke's guise, totally OWNS Ben - even making him look at Locke's face as MiB repeats Locke's last pained thoughts.

  • This has to be the best scene so far in the season.

  • That was creepy. Where exactly is 'home'?

  • heaven because they are in hell

  • I'm not a WHAT, I'm a WHO.

  • I wonder if the writers did this on purpose. On the show NCIS, Terry O Quin played a Colonel who was trying to save one of his men by proving that his soldier wasn't guilty and was set up by someone higher up.

At the end of the episode, he finds out that the comrade he's trying to save has already died in a war and that it was all in his head. When they put Terry O Quinns character in the hospital at the end of the scene he keeps repeating in a daze "I dont understand." "I don't understand."

  • Yeah you're right, that's curious...

  • Locke was and still is my favorite character!

  • Mine too, no one beats John Locke!!!

  • Man this scene gave me the chills truly epic amazing scene i will never forget this ever some people said they were scared of Flocke in his scene in the premiere but not me i was intrigued and wanted to know more about him!! And my jaw hit the floor when he said he wanted to go home truly epic

  • can i please state this properly! john lockes body is buried on the island, John Locke is dead. the MIB is only using his form, not possesing his body. how could john lockes body he be in two places at the same time? (on the beach dead and in jacobs sanctuary)

  • hahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahaha this is the truth, poor locke he was so patethic but i hope the world won't forget him

  • Amazing scene. TOQ is brilliant and that face at the end is petrifying. I tried out the closed captioning and it added a whole other level.

  • this is amazing, i just realised, john locke looks like the main guy from North by northwest

  • probably some of the best acting you'll ever see on television

  • @qpr22 when it comes to Locke and Ben it doesn't get any better.

  • luv this scene

  • absolutely epic

  • This bit made me sad seeing Locke being belittled :(
