I just want to share this view with you. I am now viewing marriage differently than i was in the past. I now believe marriage, from a biblical point-of-view, is simply when the natural affection that God placed between man and woman leads them to commit themselves to each other, without having to go before a priest or pastor. Firstly, no moral person could ever read the bible literally and continue being moral.
Secondly, most, especially the more evangelical, christians dont take the Bible seriously, especially the things Christ said himself.

I just want to share this view with you. I am now viewing marriage differently than i was in the past. I now believe marriage, from a biblical point-of-view, is simply when the natural affection that God placed between man and woman leads them to commit themselves to each other, without having to go before a priest or pastor. I see no examples of such in the bible. I believe what is being done before a pastor, priest or court system is the marriage "ceremony." Not the actual marriage

Divorce was something instituted by Moses, although God allowed it. But it was never part of God's original plan. Even Christ said so.

I believe that there are many homosexuals who love God with all their heart, and love others as much as themselves, but they turn to this type of relationships because they have been hurt ( and perhaps more than once), by someone of the opposite sex.

The Bible SAYS that a man SHOULD not lie with another man. That is strait up! NOW, what are we gonna do about it? I sincerely believe (because the Bible says so) that ALL man are sinners. On God's eyes, lying is the same as killing; they are both sin. Homosexuality is NO different than heterosexual immorality. They are both a sexual sins. NOW, does that mean I HATE THEM?? Here's my peeve: When conservative "Christians" get cornered into an argument, they quote from the Old Testament- the era of the pre-Christ- which is contradictory to the New Testament - the era of the Christ.

Also, you can't go from the Old Test, and place that on the New Test. You need to read everything and tie it together. Not just pick and choose.

Homosexuality is not a virus, It can't spread. Only a certain amount of people are born homosexual and therefore only a certain amount of the population will not be able to reproduce. Here's what I don't get:
a) even if homosexuality is wrong, since gay marriage isn't freaking hurting anyone, why not allow it?
b) why do anit-gays seem to have this idea that their opinion is an infallible truth?
c) why don't anti-gays really answer alternative explanations? All rebuttals I've ever heard are either incomplete or are circular reasoning.
