@Jurassic0Al- Fuking amazing! because i went to VF. Till this day it is still growing ;) Nothings chanced because women being there. It the adminstration that changes the rules now,and the true VF cadets from way back knows how it once was (like me) and tries to keep the tradition alive. however, i graduated and i hope the other women there keep the true VF alive. :)
@HAWAIIGURL80825- Keeping the tradition, the true Valley Forge, alive... good choice of words. That's what every good cadet, every good staff member, does at any military academy or college. Maintain tradition and keep the school as it should be alive. Thanks for responding. Hargrave had female cadets once, but they vanished in 2000-something and the school seems to pretend like they were never there. Interesting to hear how keeping female cadets has worked out for VF, though.
@Jurassic0Al-OOOhhh that sux! yeah i think some guys from your school came to VF. I have academy friends and guys that's been there from like middle & high school that stayed for college. lol talk about loving VF. Yeah there's like at 37 to 50 girls there now & they had to move them in Lafayette Hall ( secured floor of course), but everything else is the same. No problem, I just want alumni to understand that the females that go there understand and no the "brotherhood/sisterhood" that makes VF.
@HAWAIIGURL80825- I rather wish HMA would establish a junior college. The schools that did- Kemper, Wentworth, Valley Forge and a few others- added a great program to the existing academy. And it gives those who miss the academy year range a chance to attend as college cadets, and for others the chance to stay on after high school.
It's true, indeed. It's the spirit of the school, that esprit de corps, that makes it great. Without that no military school could be worth much.
Well, the women dont effect VF one bit...the only issue that they cause is the fact that the administration doesnt allow females and males to hang out together. Even if theyre not dating, it makes VF "look bad" to allow such fraternization.
@ samdonelly & @CPTkickbutt: both you guys have know idea what your talking about at all. I bet you both weren't there when women started going.

That school used to be good. It sucks now that women are admitted there. Oh well, not the same VF I knew.
