  • I have one, I changed the radio..i had a very hard time to get the wirring colors right..blew some fuses, end up with the light on the blower control knob constantly switched on..go figure it out.. i also melted the white cable behind the radio, didnt know what it was, i attached it to the back of the radio,it was alright until i turned on the lights...will help if you could tell me what your findings are question color code on the radio..thanks heaps.

  • @rsboy5 its better now. the misfire was due to sliced up wires, and everything else is fixed now also

    mine has issues too but more like dashboard stuff as my radio locked itself and i never had a code for it..

  • @terrizille i have the same but sport model and chipped with some extra lil goodies and i got it for 2500 off my neighbor and motor was redone and has 30k miles. it puts a smile on my face when i put it in sport and stomp. volvos are a beautiful piece of swedish engineering

  • you need the blower motor resistor to control the speed of the blower motor, also for the radiator fan there is a small plug-in on top of where the rad fan is that is relatively easy to switch out so it will go automatically. That is going to be a big project car, but good luck!
