Takeoff from Lanzarote (ACE) with Thomas Cook Airlines

I went to this Airport when I was 3 and now I'm 13... 10 years ago and I still remember most of my holiday, even after many more holidays and my next holiday is to Barcelona Airport (BCN) in 4 days from Newcastle Airport (NCL)! :)

yeah 757 is awesome i went on one to toronto from birmingham and they do climb hard and they are very fast, in fact i think 757 is now the fastest commercial airliner in service

They won't do. All pre-flight checks are done as they taxi down the runway. The same thing happened at Luton when I went to Gib. It was a single runway (no taxi way) with a turning circle at the end. As soon as the aircraft had turned and lined up we were off.

Don't the British subsidaries of big companies have the best aircraft-Thomas Cook UK have the A330-200 and the 757-300. Thomson Airways have the 767-300 and 737-800 and XL UK had the 737-800, 900 and 767-300

I cant wait for British Airways to recieve their A380's, 787's and my best aircraft the 777-300 ! I think Virgin Atlantic needs to expand their fleet IMO. But i love Thomson !

Yes, but Thomson will have better planes by then, I like Thomson better than Thomas Cook, Thomson have such a good fleet, I can't wait until Thomson paint all their ex-first choice planes into Thomson colours

@aceridgey I do prefer the First Choice Livery on the A320's, I don't think they'll suit Thomson colours to be honest, that's if they ever do get round to painting them, haha

Yeh Thomson arn't gonna paint em, because there going to flog them, as they want to keep an "ALL" Boeing fleet. So at the moment there just spraying up all there FCA 757 and 767's And equippting most of the new FCA aircraft with winglets. ;)

@ThomsonAirwaysFs Ahh, so that explains why I saw a winglet 757-200 on the tarmac at Manchester the other day, I think it was G-BYAX, looked really great! Are they fitting the ex-FCA 767-300's with winglets aswell then?

Yes i believ they have already started to paint and equipp FCA 763's with winglets and spray them up. They are all getting sparyed up by Maastricht Aviation Aircraft Services in The Netherlands. And yup G-BYAX has winglets but it's still in its old livery.

@ThomsonAirwaysFs Yeah that'll be what I saw, I can't wait until they get them all painted and had their winglets fitted! I think we're going to Ibiza with Thomson this year...might get a brand new wingletted 757 if we are very lucky!! haha
