This is great! I'm having a problem in bringing up a picture in photoshop cs3, where there is a border that won't go away. It says at the top Ps, then the name of the file the picture is located, then the percentage (Arboretum 013.JPG @ 16.7%). I'm not able to use the transform and pull the side in because of the border. Do you have a solution for this? Please help!
Did I miss something? I have made mu 4 copy layers. When I try to drag the layer over to the image it says, Could not complete your request because source and destination documents are the same. Can someone help?
I love you, Gavin!!! You are an awesome educator. I sometimes have problems with trying to figure out how to make Photoshop 7 do what you do with yours. Which one do you use, I will buy it just so I can keep up with you!
Yes, control T! Great tut. Love it. One thing I did was when I dragged the sides out, I just grabbed the opposite handle (far right one for the left side) and drew it across itself and it reversed automatically. Step saver.
Hold down the control and space bar the click on the part you want to zoom in on. Hold down the Alt and spacebar then click when you want to zoom out.
Fantastic tutorial as always Gavin, but could i suggest showing a preview of the finished product before the tutorial starts? just to get a feel of what it is that we're looking at. Good luck and keep it up,
Gavin - great video! You made this fun and easy to learn!

I see it coming outward (The box) instead inward. :(

love your stuff.
Ps....I would have made the left side the brighter side, since in the original image the light was coming from the left and slightly behind.

Nice tip.
When I use CTRL+T I get a stack of messages say "we can't see your keyboard" so I try and avoid them in the videos.

Very nice tut and a fun trick to try out. One thing that I added to my box was I blurred the sides with a 1.5 Gaussian Blur.
Thanks again, and keep up the good work.
