@ davidmesaaz -- No, they didn't reverse their positions. Just like the stinky one (BO), they LIED THROUGH THEIR TEETH.
Send an email to your congress people (House and Senate) and tell them what you want and what you don't want.
I also add the following to my letters to them:
"November can't come fast enough for me!"

NO MORE EARMARKS! If you want money for your state-ask for it in a separate bill-like all health related requests from every state goes on one bill for the congress and senate to approve and the president to ok and there is only so much money allocated for each department. All agricultural items go on an agricultural bill...all museums etc go on another bill. etc, but no dropping them in secretly into a defense budget or a fiscal budget. It's getting ridiculous!

We need to continue to let our elected representatives know that we need these earmarks and all unnecessary spending from our government removed so that taxes can be lowered and our economy can continue to grow.

I thought that Pelosi and the Democrats were elected because they were going to fight earmarks. They reversed their position in a year?
