What makes you think turbos need to be right next to the motor? Off motor turbos (sts or otherwise) tend to not only last longer but give more power per pound of boost, sts systems give the most power per pound of boost

@im0new0here completely bolt on, took me and a buddy about 3 days of actual work time, can be faster if you have done something like this before but we took our time and looked at everything and made sure everything was right.

@cuts2thebone no reliability issues, no lag, i honestly cant remember my 0-60 but its in the 4s, about 515rwhp and about 525rwtq, its really up to you on the upgrades man, heads and cam are always good and you can add forced induction on top of them when your ready, im doing heads and cam as soon as i can, but i say heads and cam first then see if you wanna do FI on top of that, but thats your decision, good luck with it bro

@oubobcats27 last year i popped the fuses for my pumps when it got down to single digits, but this year even in single digits i have not had a problem, i just keep that Mobil1 full synthetic in there and change it on time and its handling this weather like a champ

@DadeCountyVideos i take them all the time in my stock srt8 dude think about it srt8 comes stock 425 hp toyota supra modded probobly doesnt even touch that maybe if the supra is like a legit race car then it could keeo up but no man charger would blow it outa the water add a few mods to your charger and you could potentially break 800 hp fairly easily

@DadeCountyVideos also supra has a 3 litre engine that pushes 220 horse power so do tha math dude charger wins in hp and if your friends try telling you power to weight ratio tell them 205 more horse power is a hell of alot more then needed to make up for the weight

@DadeCountyVideos really depends on the car actually, stock v stock i would have to go with the SRT8, but i have seen a lot of 1200-1500hp supras, but thats not really on the level now is it, on your average driving through town come across a supra scenario, i would bet on the SRT

install wasnt too bad, tuning isnt that bad, i did some rough tuning through sts myself, but the final tuning was done at

FluidMotorUnion, but you can do it yourself. STS has the best customer service i have ever dealt with.

Nice setup, I have an R/T and was thinking of going with the Techco SC. but now i'm thinking STS... my only question is how prone to damage are the turbos sitting that close to the ground? have you had any issues?

nice, well u cant really go wrong with either one i think but they are very different. me i like both sc and turbos but i went with the turbos because lets face it everyone with these cars sc them and sts has more power per pound of boost. it really comes down to what you want out of it, and whatever you decide i bet its gonna be awesome. i havent had any issues with it at all, and im not worried about them getting damaged cuz if anythng would damage them im sure im not running it over.

Thanks for the info... I'm starting to really lean towards the STS setup now, I really like the sound of the turbos when they spool up, better than that supercharger buzz... I'm also looking into a 392 stroker kit, so I can run with you SRT drivers lol... I will post some videos when I get it all done... thanks again for the info.

i didnt know you could get new exhaust with the sts turbo, I thought they replace the pipes under the car with the pipes that you need with sts turbo.

no the kit only comes with pipes that go from the turbo to the intake manifold, the headers and rest of the exhaust can be messed with as long as it still matches up with the turbos.
