  • He's hesitant in some places and the words he sings are a bit off, but the quality of the song is still there! Has anyone got a Dion clip?? Fascinating info': Born to be with You was written by Don Robertson, who had a top-10 hit with The Happy Whistler in 1956! The Chordettes' version is a sweetly harmonic, quick song; Dave Edmunds slowed it down and made it a steamroller; Dion's version (prod. Phil Spector) is extremely slow - either a dirge or incredibly powerful (according to preference)!
