HINT: go to the DESERT ISLAND!!!! and dig DOWN!!.... anytime you see a LAPIS BLOCK their is a pre maid safe room with a ton or recources, as is you know tht block you spawned on? yeah dig down about 30 blocks =)

if you put wood and wood into a furnace it makes coal, just a heads up. Also if you change your shift key to caps lock you don't have to hold it down.

Just a tip guys...First thing to do on that map is make a crafting table, make a wooden pickaxe, place 3 pure stone, mine those for cobblestone. Then make a stone pickaxe. Use said pickaxe to mine all the half blocks that comprise the decorative sides of the starting spawn. Tada...you have an unburnable bridge of half steps.

and btw, look in the top of the trees, there are chests in some of them. break all the ones on the closest island to the first one, one of them gives you a diamond axe. (not pickaxe)
