In Trinitarianism you have one being (nature, essence, and substance) shared by the three - Father, Son, Spirit who make up the being of God. Hence, Jesus prayed to the Father since although they are one in being (what they are) they are distinct in personhood (who they are). Read Tertullian, Athanasius or Augustine who spelled this out long before Muhammad was born.

@Spined1234 People who have non-saving faith and say Lord Lord but did not truly believe and did not have regeneration (evidence of salvation/fruit in their lives) will go to hell. However, those whom God predestined and starts a good work in will perservere and be regenerated showing they were truly saved (Rom 8:30, Phil 1:6). This doesn't refute Christ redemption it shows that many people claim Jesus as their Lord but live wickedlyand come to him for wrong reasons (prosperity, blessing etc).

If Jesus, who lowered himself voluntarily with his own power, didn't pray to and worship the Father, then he wouldn't have fulfilled the law and His sacrifice on behalf of the world would be inadequate. In Trinitarianism you have one being (nature, essence, and substance) shared by the three - Father, Son, Spirit who make up the being of God. Hence, Jesus prayed to the Father since although they are one in being (what they are) they are distinct in personhood (who they are). Read Tertullian, Athanasius or Augustine who spelled this out long before Muhammad was born.

@Spined1234 People who have non-saving faith and say Lord Lord but did not truly believe and did not have regeneration (evidence of salvation/fruit in their lives) will go to hell. However, those whom God predestined and starts a good work in will perservere and be regenerated showing they were truly saved (Rom 8:30, Phil 1:6). This doesn't refute Christ redemption it shows that many people claim Jesus as their Lord but live wickedlyand come to him for wrong reasons (prosperity, blessing etc).

@x12yz The original name for Jesus in Hebrew was 'Yeshua' a slightly modified version of Joshua. The Greek didn't have an equivalent for the 'Sh' sound thus its eventual transaction into Greek was something like 'Iesous'. Which later became things like Iesus = Yesu or Yesus = Jesu or Jesus. There are various variations over time.

@x12yz The Greek term 'Trias' to refer to the Trinity has been in use to designate the (Father, Son and Holy Spirit as the Holy Trinity) Since the second Century by Theophilus also used in circa. 200 by Origen and Tertullian. So thus why the Term Trinity was not contained in the New Testament was because the word Trais was not in use within Christian spheres until the second century but the notion of the trinity is explicitly stated in the Bible. (Matthew 28:19-20)

Firstly Jesus was a Jew, secondly the Patriarchs had YHWH as their 'Elohim'/God, so they knew Gods name as it was revealed. But Islam doesn't teach their Gods name, Allah is a generic term meaning God, you can find it in Arabic Bibles. So why wouldn't God, if you claim we/they worship the same God, reveal his name to Muhammad like he did to the patriarchs.

I will also read people who aren't Islamic, so I can get a balanced and wider diversity of opinions. I think Karen Armstrong is very in-favor of Islam in her books, especially in comparison to Christianity and Judaism, so it's not like she is biased against Islam.

If they were the people who wrote the gospels, then why bible says “According to Mark”, “According to Luke”, “According to John” and “According to Mathew”. Why “According to..”? Why not “By Luke”, “By Mark”, “By John” and “By Mathew”? if they were the authors? That means they didn’t write these books, the gospels were written in third person.
