well, it could be read as comment that war starts from childhood games, the way boys are brought up, or as war is now an advanced computer game or grand Star wars type entertainment, for some powers and machine makers distanced from the actual events- or as it's just kids having fun, and enjoyable viewing for weapons and war lovers too. Of course reactions and interpretations will vary.

Finally, someone mentions some themes. The film can be analyzed for meaning that the creators are not aware of.

To me, the main theme is that warfare is a game that combatants can walk away from. Drones flying over the Pakistan border are guided by "combatants" sitting in Calif.

Yes, the film was done in a pleasingly simplistic cinematography; it shows the innocence of boyhood games; war is a universal theme. And, yes, the theme is deadly serious.

This is a near-pointless effort and waste of a few resources, and anyone's time watching. Behind the youthful imagination (of warfare) we see an escalation of war implements, ending in a Star Wars-type fight. Then, the boys call off the "fun" and go home. This all could have been developed in about 30 sec. of video. So, the meaning of the video that is presented is that war is play? How about something more realistic: that war is the supremely destructive human tragedy?

lol, the view through the sniper scope and the bit where he stands up and starts shooting at the beginning, it really reminds me a lot of the sniper scene in The Bourne Identity. there's even the same sort of terrain and weather, right down to the snow. reminiscent of several films- there's quite a bit of Behind Enemy Lines as well, come to think of it, besides Pred. & B.I. but even taken on its own, your film kicks butt, u guys r great directors and actors!
