If you didnt know the contract was almost up (10YEARS) for the rights to make movies on the books. Anna Rice said they took to long and wasnt going to resign another so they RUSHED Queen of the Damned out the shop. So it suffered in quality. I always wished Tom and Brad could have stayed making more :(

When I'd read the book I typed in Lestat and came up with Queen of the Dammed clips. I was disappointed. But then I came across some of the Interview clips, and I have to say that Tom Cruise, no matter how crazy he is in real life, WAS Lestat. He had the charm, the charisma and the attitude as well.
