So I am a professional, the only thing that make your hair grow faster is taking good care of it! most of what you said is verry good. Heat damages your hair so you need to use a protecten when flat ironing/blow drying/ curling. Also triming you hair every 3-6 weeks is importent because slit ends will just break you hair off and travle higher and higher. DO NOT wash your hair everyday!! this is something alot of girls do and dont understaind the problem with it. It strips the natural oils.

Guy hair usually grows faster than girls.It probably won't be the length you want it in a month, but maybe you should take biotin pills (drink LOTS OF WATER while doing so). They're said to make hair grow faster :) And if it doesn't grow back long enough, depending on how short she cut it, like the day before you leave get your hair cut in a fohawk kind of fashion and hairspray it (not too much that it looks stiff) Those are pretty popular there too, right? O.o

You should totally think of either NISIM fast, (i never tried it but people say it works) or biotin pills. My hair grows pretty fast so Idrk. I cut it in short layers barely touching my shoulders at the beginning of the school year, now it reaches my collarbone, lol. I really want my hair back too, but it should be a decent length in a year. Maybe you should do what I do; wash every 2-3 days (use baby powder ibtwn) and wrap it during those days to keep it straight w/o heat.

the hairdresser had messed up on my hair a long time ago, and she cut my hair (which was slightly passed my chest) up to my ears. I almost died.

It grew back though, and it's approaching it's old length. So really, just be patient with your hair. And avoid things like heat, that isn't very good for your hair. And be sure to get it trimmed every 6 - 8 weeks (to get rid of split ends) it should help it grow a bit faster. :)

So the thing you said about using heat on your hair is deffenatly true! A few months ago I got my hair cut supper short, at first I just styled it with paste for about a month, and it dident grow. Then I tried a flat iron on it an loved the way it looked. After about a month my hair was somewhat longer. After two or three month my hair was 3 inches longer! then i stopped the heat and its been about a month and it hasent grown since. Deffinetly going back to heat. :) Thanks for posting!
