  • Does everyone agree that Music Has The Right To Children is one of the best albums ever made?

  • This song is absolutely beautiful.

It will forever always remind me of commercials from my childhood.

Boards of Canada is a truly amazing band and I genuinely hope that this music carries in for centuries. This is true beauty.

Like this comment if you think it is much, much more true than the crap top comments here now.

  • Great!

  • It sounds like the merry harp of an angel, strumming the jollity of a thousand ecstacies into a single tune. P.S. it is probably the merry synthesiser of an angel, not a harp - just harp sounds cooler.

  • Sound Tribe Sector 9

  • @alexnimois30 u mad?

  • one million of views... I think that number is low, for the real meaning of this song... a electronic masterpiece.

  • one of the best tracks ever, great video, it really works

  • @alphazero125mg Ya still gotta give credit to those that paved the "Electronic Road": Kraftwerk, The Art of Noise, Herbie Hancock & even to some degree Devo - Yeah, I said it "Devo"

  • This is a great video!

  • rainbow family!

  • First heard this on channel 4 alternative music compilation program that went out in the late 90's early 2000's, broadcast late at night, such a haunting piece of music and i have now found who did it :-)

  • I used to listen to nothing but boards of canada, zero 7, and massive attack when i first started smoking pot with some chick i was infatuated with. Takes me back. *sigh

  • my god thats beautiful. i remember listening to this with my friend when we started smoking pot haha. oh god we had good times. and this music video is so perfect for it, thanks for that.

  • RED.ORANGE.YELLOW.GREEN.BLUE.INDIGO.VIOLET.

  • @KaleidoscopeMind also google "detour dates"

  • Radiohead - All I Need... Anyone hear the resemblance?

  • @freshclapp kinda. Radiohead are big fans of the 90's catalogue of Warp Records, which this comes from.

  • @freshclapp Shut the fuck up.

  • @AlthoughNotAFollower did u name ur channel after the line in the song 1969??? just curious

  • @freshclapp what's your point, boc were first anyways

  • @F3udF1st the point being that BoC has influenced the works of other, more well known musicians.

  • @freshclapp phew, thought so :$ sorry for being defensive :3 (youtube syndrome)

  • @freshclapp dude my gf was listening to that this morning and that was the first thing I said!

  • @freshclapp dude me too ive been saying that for years!!!

  • @freshclapp uncanny. I love this song now.

  • @alphazerol25mg What skrillex does is very difficult and many people enjoy his music. Why so much anger towards him man?

  • @xMetallynn Because his fans are noobs.

  • @alphazerol25mg Cool

  • @alphazerol25mg Correct and wrong in so many ways

  • @alphazerol25mg I love you.

  • @alphazerol25mg sure is buttmad anti-skrillex faggot in here

  • Comment removed

  • @alphazerol25mg if anyone says Skrillex is innovating electronic music again, i will punch them in their misinformed little face.

  • @alphazerol25mg And Skrillex isn't even real dubstep, on top of that.

  • @thecrazyglopss - He's not even really dubstep at all... he's mediocre electro-house with pop/rock elements.

  • "Boomp Boomp tsk Cha tsk"

  • @CalisCool Hahaha, that's awesome, that's exactly what it sounds like.

  • This is refreshing and nostalgic at the same time. While listening, I had a strange feeling that I'd been looking for this song. I can't explain it, because I'm not even high.

  • this song makes me sad.. why can't i stop listening to it?

  • What is that kid holding at 1:46? It looks like a laptop hard drive...although im fairly sure its not..

  • @lanswipe "micro"chip. 80s technology is terrifying.

  • @backyardbeachbum If that's what "micro" is in the 80s then its terrifying indeed.

  • they have such a nostalgic sound... it's actually kind of saddening

  • Does anyone else see the resemblance to Radiohead - All I Need? Just me?

  • that bass drop was amazing i love dubstep...

jk but @scaleop4 where does it sound like dubstep?

  • How the heck does this sound like dubstep to anyone?! If you think it does your probably a 'hipster'.

  • This marks ... New era, Future, Connected world! , INTERNET WORLD

Did you even go through highschool?

  • this song reminds me happy moments of my childhood... i dont know why

  • @w1th0ut Boards of Canada are all about nostalgia, but without being old fashioned. Clever boys.

  • this is awsome dubstep

  • @WowEvanwoW lol ;)

  • @WowEvanwoW its not dubstep man. but i admit it sounds a bit like it.

  • @WowEvanwoW lolwhat? dubstep? boc? are you serious?

  • If I see that fucking kid one more time...

  • @jero second :46 is straight from, outerspace

  • NICE VID :)

  • Ponys sent me here!

  • In any case, this is not dubstep at all. Not even the real kind of dubstep.

  • Que bueno este tema de lo más futurist-music como son Boards of Canada, el vídeo es genial.

  • actually people have a REASON to think it can be dubstep... listen to dubstep artists like burial, artwork, the old ones.

    dubstep was born without wubs.

  • nothing makes me happier knowing that over a million people had their lives change by this song

  • La Universidad Santo Tomas vale callampaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

  • 0:46 = best music second in history

  • @jeroenrbr

I agree... so nostalgic for some reason! (atleast to me)

  • I NOT UNDER STAND :s sadkjaskdjask

  • My teacher said mentioned roygbiv in class when taking about wavelengths/colors... all I heard was a BOC reference.

  • very nice!

  • my bro said "roygbiv suck no one listens to it ". Next night i caught him watching this video i believe he was the 100 000 001th viewer i thanked him afterwards

  • when you are drunk you just keep watching

  • hell yeahh

  • One thing about BOC, they knew how to pick interesting bygone sounding textures. Even if the drum machinery was (sort of) lazy and metronomic, they rose above their imitations and produced something aurally incredible in a beautiful place out in the country.

    P.S.

Dubstep is some sort of tight-jeaned, over-compressed, suburbian, redneck electronica populated by post pop-n-lock dancoids. Other than trollery, it's no no reason to purposely confuse it with BOC....snooze.

  • I remember when this song had under 100,000 views ;( Don't get me wrong. I love seeing other people getting to hear this song, but at the same time I kind of want to keep it to myself because it's so amazing

  • Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet!

  • @DissolvedPleasures This acronym was English?! Who knew!

  • masterpiece!!!!!

  • what the hell is the little boy saying? vey?

  • @jonathangrider

  • Great work.

  • dubstep vids are and always will be riddled with comments. its just kind of irritating to see it on the top of a boc vid- one of the best boc vids

  • Video fits this track like a glove...and a fine glove it is too!

  • if you heard this song for the first time on PHYCHEDELIC DRUGS, then you will agree it is the greatest electronic musical composition of all time

    Radiohead - "All I need" [ watch?v=iY4APDrl66s ]

  • This is not fucking dubstep you deaf fucks.

  • COM TRUISE!

  • This video fits perfectly... It defined the image I get when listening to this song. Well done...

And guys, please don't get trolled by the dubstep comment, you sound really dumb when you reply to it as if it was a serious remark.

    Peace

  • @Possimbable

    *were.

  • Stop feeding a troll,

for it only exists if you let it.

  • Music is like food. There is some music out there that is really just ear candy. Like fast food hamburgers, that music will satisfy you temporarily but leave little desire for more once over. Then there is music like this, which is comparable to gourmet cuisine -- a palette of different flavours arranged in such a way that, upon tasting, brings something unique to all of your senses. And once finished you are left wanting more, because you know you will experience something new each time. <3

  • oh my god, what stupidity has overcome everyone to think that this is dubstep? that's like listening to mozart and saying "oh, i loved the soundtrack to twilight!"

  • @VoodooPonyVideos looking more at the comments i see that its mostly troll activity. i tip my hat off to you if this is true.

  • You people are fucking stupid, this is not Dubstep, never will be. It'd be smart if you read up on what you're talking about first, at the very least, if you're just too plain retarded to understand.

  • They sort of sound like scrillex, no?

  • I just can't express in words how much I love such surreal videos! don't know why, but to me, this represents the darkness within the lives of humanity throughout history. Kind of like black and white science fiction movies.

  • this is good dubstep

  • @WowEvanwoW I call trollin'?

  • @WowEvanwoW actually i'd say it was trip hop, or down tempo, or whatever you wanna call it, but it aint dubstep - this came about years before dubstep was born.

  • perfect rip-off (homage, reboot, tribute, whatever) to the show Joseph Campanella, Tiuu Leek, and Kerrie Keene have in common.

  • I wish I was still in the 1980's ....everyone was much happier in that time.

  • @Crushdunderfoot but they wouldn't have this song

  • where is the haey! from?

  • IDM!!!! love it

  • "!haeY"

  • holy shit though, if i heard chiller music my insides would explode.... i could listen to this on my death bed and still be happy

    This isn't dubstep. At all.
