Vanhaomena, u know if theres a way to avoid losing the sniper aim when you got short by a medic on short range? Usually, u got shot, your aim suddenly aim the soil and disapears, pretty annoying when u are hitting a medic..
okay :) and 1 more question ;) when I snipe on close range, almost half of my shots dont hit..sometimes tis normal, but most of the time, I obviously see that Im shooting the enemy (still doesnt hit) ; and I see on your video that you never miss a shot (always hearing the hitsound) so is that just coz you are a pro aimer or is there some settings you can tweak to increase the accuracy? thanks ;)

Well after practicing a lot I come to the conclusion that anyone can shoot like this with just good intuition and quick pulling with the mouse. Then all you have to do is to just put your best moments together and voila, you have a movie that makes it seem like you have supernatural abilities and which every keyboard knight is going to whine about. Good job though.
true that madmack, there is a difference. On a sniper server i wouldnt be as good as I am on a frag server. I'd hold my own probably but its a different style. I'm originally an etpro sniper and dbl jump etpub stuff is totally different as well. Just different shooting style and technique. Same probably goes for Van at a guess.
Id like to play on 6b etpro servers and I sometimes do, but I cant have fun there because, for an unknown reason, my max FPS are something like 30... I barely can snipe on short range, against healing medics if I get such FPS :s

scripts dont work, never have. Dont believe me, download one, go to a server and just shoot once without it or moving you mouse, then exec it and do the same. Recoil is the same just a different direction. I have yet to see one that actually reduces recoil or eliminate it. Urban legend man. All this guy did was change his pitch and sens so he doesnt have to move the mouse as much.
I've done that same exact shot on axis coming out of spawn on goldrush. Nice. Actually can name at least 15 players that shoot like this. No scripts needed. I shoot like that every time I play and if I bothered putting a vid up it would look much the same. Only takes about 5mins to teach someone to shoot that fast even without changing m_pitch.I do it with a sens of 2.9.Would be a lot of fun going against this guy on a map like fuel.Get xfire and pm me your handle van,we'll go have some fun.
Just pull the mouse down when firing, try sniping with /sensitivity 50 and recovering will be no problem (but aiming will). It's easy to either shoot accurate or to shoot fast, doing both at the same time is a bit trickier. I can only do the fast part

Yeh that's the problem, I think every of those servers are extinct (if they even existed). Most of the sniperonly servers are Jaymod, which is like the most annoying mod ever :P. But don't you think it's more fun in normal maps, than in real sniper maps? You don't need skills in real sniper maps, 'cause if your hiding place is good, you can kill lots of ppl. But the normal maps ask skill, that's why I like to snipe on normal maps more, it's a lot harder:P.

you people are stupid saying this is lame and he doesnt even aim this is on etpro in clan wars, etpro has best hitboxes and registration and you all are to dumb to know that there is a delay from ping and that if you watcha demo then it will show you are not aiming at the models in the demo however you were in the game.
I think I've explained this already: ET demos (the replaying system) do not have anti-lag. If I aim at someone in-game when I have 100ms of latency, the demo will make it look like I'm doing all my actions 0,1 seconds too late.

scripts dont work, never have. Dont believe me, download one, go to a server and just shoot once without it or moving you mouse, then exec it and do the same. Recoil is the same just a different direction. I have yet to see one that actually reduces recoil or eliminate it. Urban legend man. All this guy did was change his pitch and sens so he doesnt have to move the mouse as much.

I've done that same exact shot on axis coming out of spawn on goldrush. Nice. Actually can name at least 15 players that shoot like this. No scripts needed. I shoot like that every time I play and if I bothered putting a vid up it would look much the same. Only takes about 5mins to teach someone to shoot that fast even without changing m_pitch.I do it with a sens of 2.9.Would be a lot of fun going against this guy on a map like fuel.Get xfire and pm me your handle van,we'll go have some fun.

Just pull the mouse down when firing, try sniping with /sensitivity 50 and recovering will be no problem (but aiming will). It's easy to either shoot accurate or to shoot fast, doing both at the same time is a bit trickier. I can only do the fast part

Yeh that's the problem, I think every of those servers are extinct (if they even existed). Most of the sniperonly servers are Jaymod, which is like the most annoying mod ever :P. But don't you think it's more fun in normal maps, than in real sniper maps? You don't need skills in real sniper maps, 'cause if your hiding place is good, you can kill lots of ppl. But the normal maps ask skill, that's why I like to snipe on normal maps more, it's a lot harder:P.

actually after watching this vid again, I'd say if suicidal was on the other team this guy would end up blanked. No way he lives long enough on battery to kill anyone. Granted, sui is a usa player and this guy is a euro, but still it would be a blast to watch.

sry, best sniper in ET is suicidalmaniac hands down. Even with the edits here and the great shots, that sucker pwns and does that shit every map period. He shoots faster and kills more peeps per map than anyone in the game. Wish he would post here with his own pwning vid, but after watching this, all I can think of is damn, Suicidal vs him would be a straight up blast to watch, but still, suicidal would pwn this guy.

I don't play all that often. I still need a dif install for 2.6 so I can come visit those servers as my last was on a hd that crashed. I do visit BEL alot lately on 2.55. I have a ping of 14 there or something, it's silly.

I think I've explained this already: ET demos (the replaying system) do not have anti-lag. If I aim at someone in-game when I have 100ms of latency, the demo will make it look like I'm doing all my actions 0,1 seconds too late.

I visited it and found myself fragging some incredibly bad players, before realizing they all have 0 ping and are therefore bots (AI controlled). I felt dumber than usually at that point
