There is no "best" drummer, granted some may be more skilled than others, and Barker is very skilled, but playing music is all interpretive. This is how Travis interprets his art. So what if it isn't a "normal" drum-solo? That's why it's unique and fresh, and that's what makes Travis a great drummer. I'd like to see all the haters try and replicate this... I know I can't.

When he starts playing, and he kicks his right and left foot at the same time, it's because he's kicking the 808 and the kick pedal. Seriously.. He even has a roland pad next to his side snare. And if you listen to the video in 720P(I have Beats by Dre on, bass is elaborated) you can HEAR the hum of the 808.
